From Interstate 101 take either Milpas Street or Hot Springs/Cabrillo Drive exits to Cabrillo Boulevard. Turn toward the mountains at Ninos Drive.
This zoo is in a beautiful location. The weather is for the most part is wonderful.

San Diego Zoo
Being the largest zoo of it's kind in the state. They have a reputation to maintain
a great zoo with countless animals living in their own habitat and they do this
very well. They have a very rare Panda baby that you won't forget. The
Gorilla area is something you will remember for a long time. If the parking lot
if getting busy look for collage kids riding rickshaws. They will give you a ride
to the front gate for a small fee. If you take the tour bus you will enjoy the park
at it's best. Then you can walk around the park looking for favorite animals

Santa Ana Zoo
This is small but fun zoo close to downtown Santa Ana. A lot of great animals live here. There is a great story about the number of Monkeys that must be in the zoo at all times. Check the history tab on their web site.
