Chapter 434 Tasting the Beauty
Chapter 434 Tasting the Beauty
Elizabeth's hand slid from his wrist to the back of his neck, her fingers running through his hair, her body pressed tightly against his chest.
She let out a soft moan, the sound particularly clear in the quiet room.
The belt of the bathrobe had come loose at some point and slipped down to her feet.
Elizabeth's body had a porcelain-like sheen under the dim light; her skin was very white, her waist was slender, and her legs were straight and long.
Her body has full and rounded curves.
Fu Yibai picked her up and carried her to the bedside, where he put her down.
She lay on her back on the bed, her eyes filled with tenderness and anticipation.
"Director Fu."
Her voice trembled slightly.
"Um."
He bent down.
Elizabeth's voice was intermittent, sometimes very low as if afraid of being overheard, and sometimes rising uncontrollably.
Her fingers gripped Fu Yibai's back, leaving faint red marks on his skin before loosening in a shiver.
After an unknown amount of time, the room fell silent.
Elizabeth curled up beside Fu Yibai, burying her face in the crook of his shoulder, her breathing gradually becoming calmer from rapid.
Her body was still trembling slightly, as if all her strength had been drained away.
The chirping of insects outside the window gradually faded away, and the night deepened inch by inch in the silence.
The next morning, Fu Yibai woke up at the Marmont Hotel.
Elizabeth was still asleep, nestled in his arms, her face pressed against his chest, her breathing even and deep.
Her eyelashes were very long, and when her eyes were closed, they looked like two small fans.
Fu Yibai gently moved her away from his arms, got out of bed, and went into the bathroom to take a shower.
When he came out, Elizabeth was already awake, leaning against the headboard looking at him with a lazy smile on her lips.
"morning."
"morning."
Fu Yibai finished dressing and took his suit jacket off the back of the chair, draping it over his arm.
"I have something to do this morning, so I have to go now."
Elizabeth nodded, without trying to stop him. She picked up a notepad from the bedside table, wrote a string of numbers on it, and handed it to him.
"This is my private number."
Next time you come to Los Angeles, remember to look me up.
Fu Yibai took the note, glanced at the numbers on it, and put it in his suit pocket.
"it is good."
He bent down and kissed her forehead, then turned and left the room.
As Fu Yibai walked out of the hotel, Zhang Xinyu was already waiting in her car at the entrance.
"Mr. Fu."
"Back to Beverly Hills."
Fan Binbin, Scarlett, and Annie are already up.
The three people were having breakfast in the restaurant when they saw him enter and looked up at the same time.
Scarlett had half a croissant stuffed in her mouth, her cheeks bulging, and mumbled something indistinctly.
Anne covered her mouth and laughed, pushing her coffee cup to the empty seat next to her.
Fan Binbin stood up, took a clean plate from the kitchen, and placed it in front of him.
"You're back? Let's eat."
Fu Yibai sat down at the table and took the fork that Fan Binbin handed him.
The morning light streamed through the floor-to-ceiling windows of Beverly Hills, filling the restaurant with the aroma of coffee and butter.
Scarlett finally swallowed the croissant in her mouth and began to vividly recount a dream she had last night. In the dream, she became a star and was sucked into a huge black hole, only to find that the other side of the black hole was full of croissants.
Fan Binbin and Annie laughed so hard they couldn't stand up straight.
Fu Yibai picked up his coffee cup, leaned back in his chair, and watched the three women laughing together in the morning light.
November 7, Beverly Hills, Los Angeles.
The day after the premiere, Fu Yibai slept until almost noon before waking up.
Scarlett and Anne each occupied one of his arms.
He gently pulled his arm away from between them, and Scarlett mumbled something indistinctly before turning over and hugging Annie's pillow to her chest.
Annie did wake up briefly, squinted at him, smiled slightly, and then closed her eyes again.
Fu Yibai put on his bathrobe and went downstairs, the aroma of coffee wafting from the kitchen.
Zhang Xinyu had already prepared breakfast: fresh croissants, cut fruit, and a pot of freshly brewed Blue Mountain coffee.
Fan Binbin sat at the dining table, holding a coffee cup in his hand, with a copy of Vogue open in front of him.
"morning."
Fu Yibai sat down opposite her.
"It's almost noon, it's still early."
Fan Binbin closed the magazine and handed him a cup of coffee.
"What about Scarlett and Anne?"
"Still sleeping."
"Yeah, they were up so late last night."
Fan Binbin's tone carried a hint of sarcasm.
Fu Yibai picked up his coffee, took a sip, and opened his laptop.
The email icon on my desktop kept popping up, mostly with box office updates from Margaret.
The North American box office figures for Interstellar's opening day are out.

Fan Binbin leaned over to take a look at the screen, his eyebrows slightly raised.

Fu Yibai scrolled down.
