Chapter 8 A Little Halloween Surprise?
Chapter 8 A Little Halloween Surprise?
Halloween arrived in the blink of an eye, and among a bunch of snakes dressed as vampires, a pair of horns mingled in.
"Airi, what's with that outfit? Those peculiar horns." Demian Setles looked at Emeric's horns with curiosity and wanted to touch them.
Draco, who was standing nearby, was already pulling at it. "Little Dragon, stop pulling, it'll fall off! Pull Harry's tail instead!" Emeric grabbed Little Dragon's hand and placed it on Harry's tail. Harry was dressed as a werewolf, his tail was fluffy. Draco didn't care what felt good, he started stroking the tail with both hands, and Harry was itching to pull the horns too.
Sensing his intention, Emeric placed his hand on Draco's head. "Go ahead and touch him. Speaking of which, Draco, isn't your hairline receding? Use less hairspray in the future, it damages your hair."
Hearing this, Draco looked horrified and turned to Harry to ask if that was true. Harry hugged Draco and nodded helplessly, "It's okay, we're still young. Just don't use hair gel, and it'll grow back in time."
Emeric watched Harry trying to coax Draco, smiled wickedly, and slipped into the Great Hall.
Before he could even order, Professor Quirrell rushed into the Great Hall in a panic.
"There's...there's a giant monster, in...in school. I thought you guys should..."
Before he could finish speaking, he fainted. Upon hearing this, the young wizards erupted in chaos.
Dumbledore pointed his wand at his own neck with a loud voice, indicating he needed to control the situation. Snape took advantage of the chaos to slip away quietly.
"Please calm down and don't panic. Each college's prefect will take their students back to the lounge."
Emerick followed the crowd slowly when he suddenly felt someone tugging at his robe. He realized it was Draco and, thinking he was frightened, prepared to pat his head and comfort him.
"Harry is missing, and so are Weasley and Granger, who he used to play with. Brother Allie, please help me find them." Draco looked at him worriedly, and was very angry when he found out that Harry was missing. He felt that Harry was not his good friend and did not care about him.
After searching carefully, Draco discovered that three young wizards were missing. He realized the situation was serious and wanted to tell his godfather, but his godfather was not there either. Finally, he found Emeric in the crowd.
Emeric nodded and told Draco to wait for him in the lounge. A perfect excuse to go see the spectacle. He waved his wand, cast an Illusion Charm on himself, and stealthily slipped away into the crowd.
I asked the grass on the outer wall and found out where Snape and Harry had gone. I also overheard that there was a three-headed dog in the classroom Snape went to, and that Harry and the others went to the abandoned girls' bathroom where there was a troll.
I'm torn between wanting to be overwhelmed by the smell or going to see Cerberus. It's such a difficult choice!
He immediately made a choice and went to the room where the three-headed dog was kept. Following the guidance of the plants, Emeric walked through countless secret passages.
Arriving at the classroom door at the same time as Snape, Emerick quickly scurried into a corner, afraid of being caught.
Snape rushed into the classroom. "Damn old bee, he's got sugar in his head. He knows Quirrell has problems and he still dares to make him a professor." With that, he cast two Sleeping Charms on Cerberus.
The three heads worked together seamlessly. Snape managed to dodge the bites of two of the dog's heads, and just as the middle head was about to bite, Emeric stared at the middle dog and said "no." The three-headed dog paused for a moment.
Snape seized the opportunity to create distance, knocked down the middle head, walked to the corner where Emeric was hiding, and pulled him out.
"Very well, two weeks of confinement. You'd better still be here when I get back." Snape angrily shoved the man into a safe corner, opened the trapdoor, and jumped down.
Oh no, the professor is really angry this time. Emeric stroked the dog's head while rummaging through the jumbled things in the ring, hoping to find something to appease the professor's anger.
After checking around and finding no signs of trespassing, I breathed a sigh of relief and prepared to go back and cause trouble for the person who had wandered off.
"Mr. Thaddeus, staying here is a wise choice. After these few minutes of thought, have you figured out how to appease your poor old professor?" Snape's sarcastic words were aimed straight at Emerick's head, without waiting for his reply.
A silver tabby cat ran up to Snape, and Professor McGonagall's voice came from the cat, "Severus, come to the girls' restroom on the second floor. There's something I need you to do."
He glared at Emeric. "Please, Mr. Thaddeus, come with me."
Emeric, walking behind, paused silently, his face covered in the black robe, and put a little distance between them. Snape smiled smugly, very pleased with his new clothes.
The joy of the prank vanished the moment Draco appeared. "Looks like it's lively here, three Gryffindors and a Slytherin? Did the Halloween ghosts take all your brains? Oh wait, I forgot trolls don't have brains."
The four cubs, trembling with fear after being called brainless, had suffered quite a few injuries despite having just knocked out the troll. Harry had a large scrape on his arm, Ron had sprained his ankle, Draco was unharmed thanks to Harry's protection, Hermione was covered in dust at the back, but otherwise, they were alright.
"Alright, Severus, can someone tell me what's going on here? Why isn't he in the common room?" Professor McGonagall interrupted Snape as he was about to make fun of him again. Otherwise, rumors would spread tomorrow that the Potions professor was bullying his students. She couldn't understand why Severus, who clearly cared about his students, always spoke so rudely.
Hermione took all the blame upon herself, saying that if she revealed the real reason, all three of them, except for Malfoy, would be punished tonight.
Emerick took out a bottle of powder and had Draco apply it to Harry to stop the bleeding, while the professors decided how to proceed.
Draco carefully applied the medicine to Harry. Harry was injured while trying to protect him. Draco remembered how his mother would blow on his wounds when he was a child, and the pain would subside after she blew on them.
It looked serious, but it was actually just a flesh wound. Harry felt a slight breeze on the wound, touched Draco's head, and thought: If this had hit the little dragon, he would definitely have cried. This is not as serious as when Dudley pushed him down the stairs.
Professor McGonagall noticed another person who shouldn't be there. "Sadius, what are you doing here? Merlin, what's wrong with you today? You're all in solitary confinement, and each of you will lose 50 points."
"Professor McGonagall, let them all come to Professor Snape to handle the potions. Potter and Weasley blew up the cauldrons quite a few times recently, and Potions class is running out of potions." Emeric needed someone to share the burden, and three Gryffindors should be enough for the professor to vent his anger.
