Chapter 48 Off Track
Chapter 48 Off Track
A scream drew everyone's attention.
Hermione frowned as she looked at Harry, only to find that Harry's broom was out of control.
Is he really that weak? Wasn't he quite strong when they were fighting over the Golden Snitch?
The broom bounced wildly up and down, and Harry almost fell off.
wrong!
Someone's causing trouble and trying to harm Harry!
Hermione didn't care whether Harry had offended her before; after all, she thought Harry was a good person when he spoke up for Landric earlier.
Looking around, Hermione's first attention was drawn to the professors on the judging panel.
She didn't think any student in this setting would have the strength to lay a hand on Harry, and even if they did, who would dare to do so in front of so many professors?
With eyes fixed on the judges' panel, the first person to notice was Dumbledore.
Of all those present, Dumbledore was the strongest.
But that's why Dumbledore didn't intend to harm Harry.
Hermione was cautious and only glanced at Dumbledore briefly, without noticing anything unusual.
Then my gaze shifted, and I saw Snape's mouth moving!
Hermione stared intently at Snape, her subjective perception influenced by stereotypes. Given the way Snape usually targeted Harry, it wasn't impossible for him to harm Harry.
Looking at Landric beside her, Hermione loosened Landric's clothes.
Landric had already been wronged, and now she didn't want him to get involved in this mess.
He winked at Landric and quietly left his seat.
"Pfft..." Draco chuckled. This stupid lion had gone to help someone.
"Brother, look, Gryffindor is Gryffindor. When their people are in trouble, Granger rushes over to help, unlike me... I only care about my brother."
The aroma of tea fills the air.
Landric said with a smile in his eyes, "Yes, Little Dragon is such a good boy. Good children are loved."
Ruffalo patted Draco's head, realizing the match was probably over, and got up to leave.
Draco enjoyed his brother's touch, his tongue pressing against his cheek.
He's so well-behaved, he's the best-behaved ever. If he's not well-behaved, then who else could catch his brother's eye?
As Landric left the seating area, two people stood out amidst the chaotic crowd.
The two figures entered Harry's peripheral vision, leaving him with only a bitter feeling in his heart.
If he had been nicer to Draco in the car…
Harry wasn't the only one who saw this; Theodore also left the field.
This farce is pointless.
There has never been peace around the savior.
Looking in the direction Landric had left, Theodore paused for a few seconds, then followed.
…………
Snape's robes suddenly caught fire.
Snape, whose attention was focused on Harry, didn't react immediately.
By the time they realized what was happening, the robe was already ruined.
He hurriedly took off his robe, and Harry's broom fell silent.
Hermione, who was hiding in the shadows and setting the fire, darkened her eyes.
If it's really a coincidence, then it's too much of a coincidence.
But she felt it was unlikely that Snape would harm Harry.
After all, she still remembered Snape's reaction during the last troll incident.
Suppressing her doubts, Hermione ran towards Harry.
Hermione asked with some concern, "How are you?"
Harry glanced in the direction Landric had left, gripped the Golden Snitch in his hand tighter, and said somewhat sullenly, "It's alright."
Hermione could guess what Harry was unhappy about even with a fool's eyes.
She was speechless about this.
His life was barely saved!
Dumbledore frowned and announced Gryffindor's victory in the match.
None of this is what he wanted to see.
Something has begun to gradually deviate from its course, and in a way that he cannot bring back.
Landric…
Dumbledore left his seat with a smile.
Snape, whose attention had been focused on Dumbledore the entire time, felt a tremor in his heart.
Then they left.
The Quidditch match came to an end, and Hermione pulled Harry along as they walked out.
Now that the matter is over, her temper has flared up.
Everything was happening to Harry, and so many professors were just watching coldly.
If just two professors had reacted a little faster, she wouldn't have had to leave the beautiful woman.
As the one who was pulled back, Harry clearly sensed Hermione's anger and quietly turned around to make a gesture towards the Gryffindor seating area.
"Got it," Ron caught up.
With no one around, Hermione couldn't wait to tell Harry, "I saw Snape chanting a spell today."
Before Harry could even process the information, Ron's indignant voice rang out: "I knew that old bat was no good. He always targets Gryffindor, and this must be his doing again."
Hermione sighed, pulled out her wand, and gave Ron a "shut up" look.
"Waaaaah! Waaaah!" Ron was forced to leave the chat.
Hermione turned her gaze to Harry. One idiot is enough, this shouldn't be one, right?
Harry felt incredibly pressured by Hermione's somewhat suspicious gaze.
What is she trying to tell me?
"I...I don't think it's Professor Snape."
Harry closed his eyes, not understanding Hermione's expectations, and chose to tell the truth.
As Harry felt the gazes around him gradually turn into expressions of satisfaction, he knew he had made the right bet.
As soon as he said that, Ron was about to jump up.
Wait, Snape gave you guys a love potion? His potency is even greater than Landric's!
Is this some kind of new type of succubus from the magical world?
Unable to speak, Ron could only shake his head back forcefully.
Water! Get out here!
"Stop shaking... Ugh!"
Seeing that the situation was about to spiral out of control, Hermione silently pointed her wand at Ron.
Ron shuddered and awkwardly released Harry's hand.
Harry finally recovered and said, "No, listen to me, Professor Snape is probably a soft-hearted person who is tough on the outside but soft on the inside."
Landric must have his reasons for liking Professor Snape so much.
Ron's eyes widened, and he was itching to go forward again.
Hermione's wand tip followed Ron, and Ron stopped moving.
Ron: I've confessed, please let me go.
For a moment, all three of them fell silent.
Hermione looked at the two people in front of her and said carefully, "Do you know that there was a door under Cerberus last time?"
Ron got all excited when this was mentioned, "Yes, yes, I was thinking, I saw it a long time ago."
"Have you ever wondered what might be hidden under the door?"
Harry asked cautiously, "The Philosopher's Stone, right?"
When Hagrid brought him back, he should have taken the Philosopher's Stone, if nothing unexpected happened.
Hermione gave Harry an approving look.
There are still smart people.
He stopped beating around the bush and said, "When we got into trouble last time, Professor Snape injured his leg. If I'm not mistaken, it was probably that Cerberus that scratched him."
"You mean Professor Snape is going to steal the Philosopher's Stone?!"
Hermione remained silent. According to the plot, it was indeed Professor Snape who was going to steal the Philosopher's Stone.
But she! Doesn't! Believe!
Ron really wanted to bang Hermione's head on the ground to see if he could get the water out.
She didn't care at all that Professor Snape wanted to harm Harry and steal the Philosopher's Stone.
