Chapter 68 Treasure Hunter
Chapter 68 Treasure Hunter
After sending Uchiha Yotsuya home, Shisui was still unable to calm down for a long time, thinking about what had happened earlier.
He thought he would probably never forget this scene for the rest of his life.
Watching the figure disappear from sight, Uchiha Shisui then used the Body Flicker Technique to leave.
Upon returning home, Uchiha Hato immediately dispelled the shadow clones he had created earlier that day.
"Using shadow clones to practice ninjutsu is indeed a good method, but returning to the original body is really quite an experience."
After receiving the memories of the shadow clone, she walked towards the bathroom.
After taking a shower, Uchiha Yo returned to his bedroom and sat cross-legged on the bed to refine his chakra.
Having left Konoha, the Lone Star finally found the Alchemy Lab.
“This alchemy lab is much better than the one built inside the toilet.” She looked at the small wooden hut in front of her, lost in thought.
As soon as she opened the door, she was met with a pair of green eyes.
"Uncle, it's been a long time!" Gu Xing exclaimed in surprise.
Hearing the long-lost voice, a hint of surprise flashed across Kakuzu's face. He looked the person in front of him up and down. "You've grown quite a bit taller, little girl!"
"Really? I think so too. But I have to thank the money the uncle gave me so I can buy some nutritious food on a regular basis." She praised herself and didn't forget to thank Kakuzu.
"At least you have a conscience, little girl." A rare smile appeared on Kakuzu's face.
"Uncle, I won't catch up with you now, I'll be right back." Lone Star hadn't forgotten what he was supposed to do this time.
As she entered the cabin, searching for the mechanism to access the alchemy lab, Kakuzu appeared beside her without her noticing. He pressed a button on a protruding wall lamp on the side wall, revealing a passageway on the ground not far away.
Are you bullying her because she's short?
"This body is at least twelve years old, not the original body which is only seven years old."
Lone Star glared at the wall lamp, then turned to look at Kakuzu beside him. "Uncle, thank you."
After she finished speaking, she stepped into the passageway in front of her.
"Kid, don't keep me waiting too long." Kakuzu's voice rang out behind him. Lone Star turned around, smiled, and ran inside.
Although she wore a mask that obscured her expression, the joy in her eyes was immediately apparent.
Kakuzu walked out of the wooden house and sat down under a large tree nearby.
About half an hour later, Lone Star came out of the wooden house. "Uncle, have you been waiting long?"
"It's alright," Kakuzu said calmly.
"Is this really Kakuzu?"
"Where's the promised cruelty... I can't see any of it." Lone Star stood there, staring blankly.
"Hurry up and get going, don't slow down my earning speed." Kakuzu's expression suddenly became impatient.
"Here they come, here they come." Lone Star instantly teleported to Kakuzu's side.
"Hmm? This little girl seems to have improved quite a bit in the time we've been apart?"
"You used the 'Body Flicker Technique' just now, didn't you?"
"Could she be from Konoha?"
He frowned slightly when he thought of Konoha.
"Uncle, shouldn't we come up with a group name?" An excited voice pulled Kakuzu back to reality.
"Girl, don't push your luck!"
“I don’t need this kind of combination at all. I only let you come along today because I’m in a good mood.” Kakuzu’s expression turned cold, and he said in a gloomy tone.
"Oh, then I'll give myself the nickname 'She-Devil'!"
"How about that? Doesn't it sound pretty good and impressive?" Lone Star praised herself to herself, completely ignoring Kakuzu's attitude towards her.
Kakuzu's lips twitched slightly. He decided to ignore the little girl, otherwise she would definitely keep talking endlessly.
He did do that, but the chattering in his ears never stopped.
He didn't even know when he had become so good-tempered; if it were anyone else, he would have killed them long ago.
After a period of further trials and tribulations.
"Uncle, it's decided then. The group name will be 'Treasure Hunters'."
In the end, Kakuzu was defeated by Lone Star's persuasive words, resulting in the formation of such an incredibly corny group name.
"Uncle, can't you laugh? Like me..."
Lone Star touched the mask on his face and exclaimed, "Oh dear, I forgot I'm wearing a mask right now!"
She skipped over that question, asking directly, "Uncle, where are we going now...?"
"Uncle, why aren't you answering me? Is your throat sore? I know a little bit of medical ninjutsu now, I can take a look at it for you."
"Uncle..."
"Shut up!" Kakuzu finally roared, unable to contain himself any longer.
Lone Star's voice stopped abruptly, and Kakuzu felt a pang of guilt upon seeing this.
Less than three seconds later, an annoying voice rang out, "Uncle, is that why no woman likes you?!"
"Uncle, aren't you lonely and cold being all alone?"
"..."
Gu Xing uttered a string of words, and Jiao Du was filled with regret for letting this little girl come along.
From behind, the two look quite like a father and daughter.
"We've arrived. Wait here for me for a while, girl." Kakuzu said before hurriedly leaving.
"Uncle, you haven't answered my question yet..." Lonely Star pressed on, but the man had already disappeared from her sight.
"Is she that scary?" Gu Xing asked, puzzled, before chasing after her. "She still has a lot of questions to ask!"
"Damn it, I don't know which nook or cranny I've wandered into again." A hint of annoyance flashed in Lone Star's eyes. It was really frustrating to become directionally challenged so easily. What did her main body's headaches have to do with her clone? Why did she have to suffer from this too?
"Sigh..." she couldn't help but sigh as she thought about it.
Just then, a young man dressed as a bandit warrior pointed to a figure not far ahead and said, "Boss, there's someone up ahead. Want to rob him?"
"Nonsense, we haven't seen a single person today. The fabric of this person's clothes is not something an ordinary person can afford; he must be rich." A one-eyed, fierce-looking middle-aged man said viciously.
As soon as he finished speaking, three people stepped out from behind him and rushed towards the location of Lone Star.
"You brat, hand over your money, or you'll leave your life behind!" shouted a man who looked like a bamboo pole.
"Wow, a sacrifice delivered right to our door." Lone Star looked at the three people who suddenly appeared, his eyes sparkling, completely ignoring what they were saying.
"Hey, you brat, I'm asking you a question!" a rather overweight man shouted.
"What did you say?" Lone Star's head showed a big question mark.
This action directly angered the three men, who then charged forward with their weapons.
