"Get up, Ron, get up! We promised to visit Hagrid together!"
The sun shines brightly, and the sky is a flawless, deep blue.
Harry pushed open the dormitory window, almost greedily inhaling the cool air of the early summer morning.
The shimmering black lake reflected a pale golden light that shone into Harry's emerald eyes, further awakening his spirit. Meanwhile, the vast, boundless forest and the majestic black mountains nestled on the plains in the other direction gave Harry a sense of boundless freedom and exhilaration.
"Here it comes—"
When Harry turned around, Ron had already gotten out of bed, taken off his dressing gown, and was frantically putting on his shirt, shirtless. One of his eyes was open, but the other was still half-closed.
"But before we visit Hagrid, Harry, we need to have breakfast in the Great Hall... Hopefully I'll find the way this time."
"No need, Ron—"
Harry then spoke to Ron. His eyebrows shot up, almost with a hint of elation.
"I bet Hagrid will prepare breakfast for us—oh, and I also need to ask him why he hasn't visited me even once in the two days I've been in the hospital!"
So, when you fear something will happen, it is very likely to happen—Ron's fears came true.
The intricate network of paths inside Hogwarts was no less than a maze for Harry, and although Ron had walked the route from the dormitory to the Great Hall several times with his brothers, he still couldn't find his way when it was his turn to lead the way.
They were led in the wrong direction more than once by the moving spiral staircases, and it took them at least twenty minutes to go down each floor on average.
"I swear to you, Harry, if I ever become the headmaster, the first thing I'll do is blow up these stairs!"
Harry and Ron limped along, supporting each other (their feet were stuck in the staircase that had suddenly disappeared).
"I believe, I believe—"
Harry said weakly. He had spent too much time finding his way and was starving.
"But our most important thing now is—oh, let's turn back, we've definitely taken the wrong path again, I'm sure we've already been here once!"
"Damn building—ah, Professor Delfino!"
Turning around, a young face suddenly came into the eyes of the two boys, startling them so much that they immediately tensed up.
"What are you two doing?"
Professor Delphinor, who looked like he was about to knock on a door, sized them up—Harry couldn't blame his savior for his strange expression... because he knew he must look quite disheveled.
"Uh—find the way to the auditorium, Professor—"
Harry said.
"We're lost."
Ron added sheepishly.
"Can you really get yourself all bruised and battered just looking for directions?"
Ares shook his head with a wry smile.
"This is truly an eye-opener for me, gentlemen... Oh, by the way, where's Miss Granger? Why isn't she with you?"
Harry and Ron looked at each other, both seeing the confusion in each other's eyes.
"Well—we're not familiar with her, Professor Delfino."
Harry hesitated, then spoke in a tactful tone.
"Oh, I forgot—"
Ares gently patted his forehead and muttered to himself,
"Oh right—we haven't formed a team yet, then—"
He looked at the two little boys who were extremely uncomfortable in front of him.
"I'm going to visit Professor McGonagall. You can go back, turn right at that fork, walk a little further and then turn left; that's the way downstairs... Go have fun."
So, following Professor Delfino's directions, the two of them jogged downstairs.
"Why would he think we'd be with Granger, huh? Harry?"
Ron asked, puzzled.
"She's a girl, isn't she... and, as I see it, a nasty megalomaniac!"
"I don't know...we'll talk about it later, Ron."
Harry said,
"All I want now is to see Hagrid as soon as possible."
So, after experiencing a series of hardships and setbacks, they finally managed to reach the cabin located at the edge of the forest.
When Harry knocked, they heard a tense struggle and a few low barks from inside, followed by Hagrid's voice.
"Back off, Yaya, back off."
Hagrid opened the door a crack, revealing his large, bearded face.
"You're here! I thought you'd forgotten the time!"
He said with a smile, while desperately grabbing the collar of a huge black hunting dog to make room for the two little boys to enter the house.
Harry looked around Hagrid's house—a wooden cabin with only one room. Hams and pheasants hung from the ceiling, a copper kettle was boiling water in a brazier, and a bed sat in the corner.
This is a messy room that Aunt Petunia would never appreciate... that's what Harry thinks, but he finds it quite amusing.
To accommodate Hagrid's enormous size, the few pieces of furniture in the room were all extra-large; he could practically use the stool next to the window as a bed.
"We're lost, Hagrid—"
Harry complained, pointing at Ron, who was being pounced on by Bass.
"This is Ron, my roommate."
"Probably another Weasley brother?"
Hagrid smiled at Ron's slightly reserved greeting, glancing at Ron's red hair and freckles.
"I've spent most of my life inside the Forbidden Forest trying to drive those twin brothers out."
After pouring the boiling water from the copper kettle into a large teapot, Hagrid then poured the rock cakes onto the plate on the table—food that the two boys desperately needed.
Harry and Ron eagerly responded to Hagrid's call, each grabbing a large piece and stuffing it into their mouths.

Without prior arrangement, the two of them silently put down the pancakes.
Harry thought to himself that he should have listened to Ron and gone to the Great Hall to get something to eat first.
"Speaking of which, Hagrid, these past two days—"
After putting down the biscuit, Harry intended to question Hagrid about why he hadn't visited him. But before he could speak, he changed his mind.
"Haven't seen you much, Hagrid?"
"You're probably blaming me for not visiting you, aren't you, Harry?"
Despite his seemingly rugged appearance, Hagrid possessed a keen mind. He noticed Harry's "melancholy," and after plopping down on the bed, he patted his strong body and sighed.
"I wanted to go, Harry—but I'm forbidden... Oh, don't worry, it's not that I'm causing any trouble, Harry. It's just that Madam Pomfrey thinks the hospital is already chaotic enough, and that just my presence there, even if I do nothing, will cause her trouble!"
Ron pursed his lips, looking like he wanted to laugh but felt it wasn't quite appropriate.
It must be said that Mrs. Pomfrey's judgment was accurate.
Hagrid abandoned his complaints about his physique and turned his gaze to Harry's face, carefully examining the scars on his forehead... not the lightning bolt scar, but two scars from the accident—they had completely healed, temporarily forming two light pink marks on his forehead.
Hagrid was very satisfied with the result, and he looked at Harry with great interest.
How do you feel about Hogwarts?
"very good!"
Harry said sincerely,
"But I got a little bored in the hospital the past two days."
"Oh, hehe—"
Hagrid laughed.
"There are plenty of people who'd love to be bored right now, Harry... Hey, you haven't heard much of what's going on, have you? That's because Dumbledore's kept all that noise out of the school, but actually, the wizarding world is in an uproar!"
