Chapter 276 Sending Harry Back to Black's Old House
Chapter 276 Sending Harry Back to Black's Old House
Looking at him like this, I couldn't help but chuckle softly, my fingers unconsciously stroking his messy hair.
"Harry~ The sun has already set." I called him softly, my voice full of tenderness and love.
He squinted slightly, the corners of his mouth turned up, revealing a lazy smile, and snuggled closer to me.
“It’s dinner time now,” I whispered in his ear, my warm breath brushing against his earlobe.
He just groaned and buried his head even deeper, wrapping his arms around my waist as if trying to embed me into his body.
I gently pinched his nose, teasing him on purpose: "You haven't told Mrs. Weasley you're not coming home for dinner yet. If you don't get up soon, I think your godfather will be looking for you everywhere."
He reluctantly raised his head, wrinkled his nose, and looked at me with a childlike reproach.
Looking at his adorable face, I couldn't resist moving closer to him and gently touching his cheek.
His skin was warm and smooth. The moment our noses touched, my heart felt like it was struck by an electric current, and a tingling sensation spread throughout my body.
He cupped my face in his hands and returned my kiss with a deep, passionate one. The kiss was tender and lingering, as if time itself had stood still.
Our breaths mingled, and love flowed in each other's eyes.
After the kiss, he pressed his forehead against mine, looking at me with deep affection: "I don't really want to go back."
I chuckled at his words and gently patted his shoulder: "Get up. If I don't take you home, your godfather might tear me apart."
He finally let go of me, sat up, and stretched.
I held Harry all afternoon, and my hands and feet felt a little numb.
"What's wrong, Ayers?" Harry didn't see me stand up and turned around to look at me curiously.
"My hands and feet are numb, let me rest for a bit." Harry's departure made my hands and feet feel like they'd been electrocuted.
"Hahaha, do you need me to give you a massage?" Harry said, sitting next to me with a laugh.
"Are you hungry? Do you want to have some snacks first? I'll take you back once my hands and feet are no longer numb." I ruffled Harry's hair with my hands that were no longer numb.
"It's okay~ You should rest first." Harry gently massaged my stiff hands and feet.
During this time, I asked Butler Chen to bring some pastries for Harry, because I didn't want him to go hungry. It seemed he hadn't eaten lunch either, and he was going to starve if he didn't eat something soon.
“Ayers, it’s okay. I’ve gone a whole day without eating before, and I’m fine now.” Harry was just recounting something that had happened in the past.
"I won't allow it anymore. I won't give you the chance to go hungry again." I said it without thinking, but Harry took it to heart. I picked up a piece of pastry and stuffed it into Harry's mouth with a pang of heartache.
"Young Master, the pastries you asked me to prepare are ready." Butler Chen placed an oversized food box on the table.
"Okay, Butler Chen, I'll be right back. You can arrange dinner now." I felt that Harry had already finished that small piece of pastry, so I put the large food box into my mobile backpack with one hand, and then wrapped my arm around Harry's waist and Apparated.
Harry suddenly realized that Ayers' Apparition seemed different from others; he didn't feel nauseous or dizzy at all.
“Ayers, your Apparition feels very different?” Harry asked as soon as we arrived at Black’s old house.
“Because my Apparition has been modified by me, making it more stable and secure,” I said to Harry with a smile.
"So you can even change spells, Ayers." Harry's praise was truly heartfelt, and he was very proud that such an excellent wizard was his beloved.
“I can teach you next time you want to learn. Now, I won’t go in. I’ll watch you go in from here. Here’s a little gift, take it with you.” I decided not to go into Black’s old house, so I handed Harry the large food box that I had put in my portable backpack.
“Ayers, my godfather…” Harry wanted to defend his godfather.
"It's okay, you go in first, I'll watch you go in." I interrupted Harry before he could say anything, smiled and nodded to him, then pushed him inside.
Harry knew that Ayers didn't want to hear his explanation to his godfather anymore, which was why he pushed himself inside.
He walked into the old Blake mansion, looking back every few steps.
Watching Harry return to Black's old house is like watching Sirius return home as a child.
When I traveled back to his childhood, every time I said goodbye to Sirius, I would watch his departing figure like this.
Suddenly, I felt as if a pair of eyes were staring at me from a second-floor window.
I didn't look in that direction, but a mischievous thought popped into my head.
I thought of the days when Elsa and Sirius were together, those secrets and understandings that only we knew.
I slowly raised my hand, making that unique gesture, as if engaging in a silent dialogue with the gaze from behind the window.
This gesture carries our shared memories.
In the past, when we went on adventures and played together, we used this gesture countless times to convey our trust and support for each other.
Sirius's unrestrained laughter, and his warm smile as Elsa, those scenes all come to mind.
After making the gesture, I took a deep breath and focused my mind to prepare for "Apparition".
The power of magic surged within me, and the world around me began to blur and distort.
In the blink of an eye, I had left the old house and appeared in my familiar villa.
When I got home, I ate dinner by myself, then went to my room to shower and go to bed.
On the other hand, Sirius stood on the second floor of his house, quietly watching me bring Harry back.
He simply watched calmly, though a hint of relief in his eyes suggested Harry's safe return.
He suddenly saw me raise my hand and make that unique gesture that only I and my childhood sweetheart knew, pointing towards myself on the second floor.
Sirius's previously calm expression changed instantly; his eyes widened in disbelief, filled with shock.
It was as if time had turned back at that moment, and he saw again the days when we laughed and played together.
His body tensed instantly, and then, as if pulled by an invisible force, he quickly ran towards the door.
His steps were hurried and frantic, each step filled with an urgent desire.
He had only one thought in his mind: to see me, to have a good talk with me, and to relive those memories that had been buried by time.
His heart was pounding violently in his chest, as if it were about to break free of its restraints.
However, fate always seems to love to play tricks on people.
When he finally rushed to the door, he only saw the back of that bastard Ayers after he disappeared using "Apparition".
He stood still, his body trembling slightly, his outstretched hand falling limply to his side.
He stared blankly at the empty space, as if he could still see me standing there, smiling at him, making that familiar gesture.
Disappointment overwhelmed him like a tidal wave.
Over the years, he has endured so much hardship and torment, and this bond with his childhood friend is like a ray of dawn in the darkness.
Just now, the dawn seemed so close, yet it vanished in an instant.
He slowly turned around and dragged his heavy steps back into the house.
