Chapter 32 Healing Boromir
Chapter 32 Healing Boromir
After dealing with the orcs, the four quickly headed towards the direction where Boromir had sounded the horn.
But at that moment, Boromir bumped into Merry and Pippin. He stared at the two of them in astonishment, momentarily speechless.
But the powerful orcs catching up from behind forced him to suppress his doubts.
"Go, hurry up!"
whoosh-
The arrow flew and struck Boromir directly in the shoulder, causing him to fall to his knees.
Upon seeing this, a powerful orc raised his greatsword to strike, but Merry and Pippin charged forward with their swords drawn. One of them headbutted the orc, and the two of them frantically stabbed him through the gaps in his armor with their longswords.
The two men got up and continued to run away with the injured Poirot, but their strength was not enough to drag Poirot very far.
The orcs behind him attacked again. Boromir gritted his teeth and stood up, piercing through one of the orcs with a single thrust.
Another slash, and a powerful orc falls!
whoosh-
Another arrow struck Boromir.
Standing at a distance, Luz on the hillside stared angrily at Polomier.
The ambush at the entrance to the Moria mine failed; if he hadn't run fast, he probably would have died there too.
Afterwards, he was severely reprimanded by his owner!
Now he hates every single member of the Fellowship of the Ring.
Looking at Polomir, who was already kneeling on the ground, Lutz felt a sense of satisfaction.
Meanwhile, Pippin and Merry had already been carried on the shoulders of the swarming orcs and were heading away into the distance.
Luz followed at the back of the group and slowly drew his bow before Polomir.
boom--
With a crisp crack, Lurz's grinning head exploded instantly.
Boromir weakly turned his head and saw Aragorn and the others hurrying toward him.
"They've taken Pippin and Merry! I'm so sorry..." Boromir cried out, wanting to continue apologizing and sobbing.
But Tie Hui stepped forward, shoved Aragorn aside, and pulled out a medical kit.
Tie Hui injected him with morphine and then quickly pulled the two arrows out of his body.
As soon as the disinfectant was sprayed, Polomir cried out in pain.
After applying hemostatic agent and administering an anti-inflammatory injection, the wound was bandaged.
Tie Hui helped him up and looked at Aragorn, saying, "Are there any villages or towns nearby? His injuries need rest! Otherwise, they will worsen!"
Aragorn and his two companions looked at each other in bewilderment.
"The closest one is Edoras! It's the capital of Rohan! But even on horseback, it would take more than ten days to travel there, day and night!" Aragorn shook his head. Even after wandering the Middle-earth for so long, he was at a loss for what to do.
Gimli asked, "Where is Gondor?"
Legolas sheathed his twin blades and said, "It's farther away and more dangerous, teeming with orcs! We also have to cross mountains!"
Tie Hui opened the first-aid kit, counted the medicines inside, and said, "I'll stay and take Boromir to Edoras! You go and rescue those two hobbits! Afterwards, we'll meet in the capital of Rohan! I have enough medicine to last him until he reaches the capital of Rohan."
"good!"
Aragorn and his two companions, seeing that Boromir had recovered and was stable, all nodded in agreement with the proposal.
Aragorn and his companions then turned and went after the fleeing Orcs without looking back.
Tie Hui watched the three people walk away, then took out a sedative from his medical kit.
He injected Polomier with the drug!
Night falls!
Boromir slowly opened his eyes, looking at the campfire burning beside him and Tie Hui cooking food.
Boromir couldn't help but laugh self-deprecatingly: "I never imagined that in the end, you would be the one to save me!"
Tie Hui stirred the broth in the pot and said, "Surprised?"
Boromir remained silent for several seconds before speaking, his voice choked with emotion: "I'm sorry! I wanted to steal Frodo's Ring! I suggested you go to Gondor because I wanted to use their army to take you down so I could seize the Ring and the weapon you possess..."
As he spoke, tears streamed down his face: "My people have suffered terribly, and my father has grown old and lost his mind. If this continues, the people of Gondor will be displaced. I'm sorry, I'm so sorry..."
Tie Hui listened to Boromir's confession and apology without any emotional fluctuation.
Because it's not his fault; people born into that social class are just like that.
This is his innate mission and responsibility!
Boromir was an extremely strong-willed and proud man, but such people often harbor countless vulnerabilities and pressures.
Tie Hui ladled the hot soup into a bowl and handed it to Boromir: "Drink it, it will help your injuries!"
As he spoke, he gave him another injection of anti-inflammatory medicine!
Boromir struggled to drink the soup and lay on the bed, regretting his previous actions.
The medication gradually took effect, eventually causing him to fall into a deep sleep.
Tie Hui also fell asleep on the other side, but he left the bird divination device on in real time.
An alarm will sound immediately if a certain number or more of organisms are detected entering the detection range.
In a technologically backward environment like Middle-earth, that's enough!
Around noon the next day.
Tie Hui then led Polomir on their journey to Edoras.
The two walked and stopped frequently along the way, and Polomir's wounds were repeatedly healing and worsening.
Because those orc arrows were imbued with dark power!
The medicine he gave could only promote healing in a physical sense, but it could not expel the dark forces within.
The only way to wear it down is to use magic to do it little by little!
……
Meanwhile, Frodo and Sam, who were on their way to Mount Doom, finally caught Gollum, who had been following them.
The moon climbed into the sky, watching Gulu being tethered in the distance.
Frodo was once again worried about the journey, and touched the laser pistol that Iron Foster had given him at his waist.
Recalling Ironhide's descriptions of his homeland and the sorrow he felt after its destruction, Frodo knew that he had to destroy the One Ring completely, no matter what.
Aragorn and his party even encountered Rohan cavalry that had been driven away.
Iome!
Aragorn's mood became even heavier after learning that the orc army had been completely wiped out, and that he had not seen the so-called hobbits.
Aragorn kicked away the helmet that remained on the battlefield and roared in anger.
……
Tie Hui and Boromir used rough wooden branches they found somewhere as walking sticks.
The two finally arrived in Edoras, travel-worn and exhausted.
Looking at the town built on the hillside in the distance, Tie Hui was once again shocked by the poverty of Rohan.
The capital city has been built into this awful state!
That's quite an awesome country!
Tie Hui helped the pale-faced Polomir towards the gates of the country's capital.
"stop!"
