Chapter 363 Qiqi's Hard Work
Chapter 363 Qiqi's Hard Work
With two heavy bags of food tightly wrapped around her arms, Qi trudged towards home.
Suddenly, a deafening roar came from the sky. She subconsciously looked up and squinted at the sky.
"Hey? Aren't these the couple from next door?"
Kiki pondered to herself.
She saw the couple driving a brand-new hovercar, leisurely passing overhead, with bursts of cheerful laughter drifting out from inside.
The back of the vehicle was laden with ingredients, which looked particularly eye-catching under the sunlight.
Qiqi stared blankly as the hovercar gradually disappeared into the distance, until it became a small black dot on the horizon.
She sighed softly, looked down at her hands, which were red from being tightly bound, and at the two heavy bags of food, shook her head helplessly, and dragged her heavy steps back home.
Back home, Qiqi gently placed the two bags of food on the table with a sigh of relief, then slumped into a chair and lay there lost in thought.
My thoughts were still lingering on the scene from earlier, and I couldn't shake it off for a long time.
Just then, the door creaked open, and Sun Wukong, carrying a giant fish that was half his height, walked into the room with a big smile on his face and shouted, "Mom, we're back! This is a gift for you!"
As he spoke, he placed the large fish on the ground with a "thud".
Chi-Chi mustered her spirits, gave Gohan a smile, and said, "Gohan's back."
At that moment, Kiki caught sight of Piccolo standing outside the gate. Her face instantly darkened, she snorted coldly, and abruptly turned her head to the side.
Bick was slightly taken aback at first, then gave a helpless twitch of his lips and slowly turned his head to the other side, an awkward atmosphere filling the air.
Immediately afterwards, Sun Wukong and Shang Yun entered the house one after the other.
After Shang Yun politely greeted Qi Qi, he stood quietly to the side without saying another word.
Sun Wukong casually took off his coat and threw it on the table, complaining, "Ugh, it's so hot, I'm covered in sweat. Gohan, let's go take a bath."
Son Gohan also started taking off his clothes, excitedly saying, "Great! Uncle Piccolo and Godfather, let's take a shower together!"
As Qiqi looked at the ever-growing pile of dirty clothes on the table, her brows furrowed deeper and deeper, and the anger in her heart was like a volcano about to erupt, constantly accumulating power.
Finally, she could no longer suppress her dissatisfaction. With a "bang," she slammed her hand on the table and stood up, glaring at Sun Wukong as she roared, "Wukong!"
Sun Wukong was startled by the sudden roar and asked blankly, "Chi-Chi, what's wrong? Is the bathwater ready?"
Chi-Chi clenched her fists, her nails almost digging into her palms, and roared through gritted teeth, "I can't take it anymore! Goku, you should take some responsibility for this family! Look at the couple next door, the husband drives his hovercar to take his wife down the mountain to buy groceries every day, but what about you? You should drive me to buy groceries too!"
Sun Wukong scratched his head innocently and said aggrievedly, "But I don't have a driver's license, so I can't drive. Besides, we don't have a hovercar at home."
Qiqi was trembling with anger and retorted loudly, "If you don't have a driver's license, then go and take the test! You're probably the only person in this society without a driver's license!"
Sun Wukong scratched his head, his eyes wide, and retorted defiantly, "Piccolo and Zhonya's Hourglass didn't have any either!"
Before the words were even finished, Bick crossed his arms, his sharply defined face filled with disdain, and gruffly said, "Why would I take that kind of exam?"
Shang Yun put his hands behind his back, shook his head slightly, and said calmly, "That's right, I don't need it either."
Qiqi narrowed her eyes, sneered, crossed her arms, and exuded an undeniable aura: "If you don't have one, then go to the driving school down the mountain and take the test. It'll be a good opportunity for you to learn some common sense!"
She slightly raised her chin, her gaze sweeping over everyone present, as if she had already arranged their schedules.
"So that they don't just know how to fight and kill, and don't even understand basic life!"
"Wait a minute, Chi-Chi!" Sun Wukong hurriedly waved his hand, a fawning smile on his face.
However, Qiqi didn't give him a chance to explain, and interrupted sharply with her hands on her hips: "Alright! Starting tomorrow, the three of you will stop your cultivation and go to the driving school down the mountain to get your driver's licenses!"
Her almond-shaped eyes widened, and her gaze swept over the three of them with piercing intensity.
"If you don't listen to me, I won't cook for you!"
Sun Wukong scratched his messy hair, his Adam's apple bobbing up and down, and finally could only nod with a wry smile.
Piccolo was about to retort when Goku patted him hard on the shoulder. A hint of helplessness flashed across the Namekian's angular face, and he finally lowered his head and nodded reluctantly.
Shang Yun looked at Bick's tense profile and chuckled inwardly.
The afterglow of the setting sun streamed through the window, gilding Piccolo's dark green skin with a golden edge. This once fearsome demon king now appeared as submissive as a tamed beast.
"It seems that Bick has completely become the Sun family's caretaker."
Shang Yun couldn't help but sigh inwardly.
"Not only do I have to take care of the children and accompany Sun Wukong in his training, but now I don't even dare to contradict Chi-Chi."
Noticing that Qiqi's gaze had turned to him, Shang Yun shrugged and gave a gentle smile: "Okay."
Shang Yun spread his hands, his tone slightly teasing: "After all, nobody wants to miss Chef Qiqi's cooking skills."
With the three's permission, Qiqi nodded in satisfaction, turned around, and hummed a little tune as she walked into the kitchen.
Soon, the aroma of food wafted from the kitchen, mingling with Qiqi's cheerful humming, adding a touch of warmth and life to this otherwise tense home.
At dawn the next day, before the morning mist had completely dissipated, Sun Wukong, Piccolo, and Shoyun appeared in front of the driving school next to the city at the foot of the mountain.
Sun Wukong stood on tiptoe and peered inside, his eyes filled with curiosity as he watched the cars moving back and forth: "Is this the driving training class?"
Bick pulled his baseball cap down low, and his dark green skin looked somewhat uncomfortable against the backdrop of his casual clothes.
Bick glanced at the two men, who were also wearing jeans, and let out a muffled snort: "Honestly, why do I have to take the driver's license test with you guys?"
Sun Wukong scratched his head and chuckled, his tiger teeth gleaming in the morning light: "Hey, let's hurry up and get our driver's licenses so we can go back to cultivate!"
As he spoke, he strode towards the registration area, his sneakers making a "clack-clack" sound on the asphalt.
Piccolo shook his head helplessly, thinking to himself, "An Earth woman who can make even a Super Saiyan submit is truly terrifying."
Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Shang Yun with his arms crossed, a smile playing on his lips, watching them with great interest. His leisurely demeanor only irritated him more, and he let out a heavy snort as he followed.
The driving school's glass doors slid open automatically, engulfing the three figures in a busy training scene.
