A moment later, the man appeared in a flash, landed on the deck, and scanned the area with a cold and ruthless gaze.

People around instinctively lowered their heads, avoiding eye contact.

The man glanced at the fisherman and said, "I didn't expect you to be a disciple of Mount Hua. Come with me."

After saying that, he turned around and went back into the cabin. The fisherman was taken aback, but then followed him in.

The two people who were originally blocked outside the door stared at the cabin door with resentment in their eyes, looking as if they wanted to kill someone.

………………

Inside the cabin, the man who had fallen into the water lay unconscious on a bright yellow bed. Beside him, an elderly man carrying a medical kit looked distressed, lost in thought.

The man who brought the fisherman in turned around: "Young Master Yue, I didn't expect it was you who saved the Emperor."

The fisherman was none other than Yue Yuchen. He cupped his hands and said, "I didn't expect the Grand Eunuch to still remember me!"

"My master is Sun Zhu. Young Master Yue is the number one swordsman in the world, and I have long heard of him." That person was the eunuch who had gone to Mount Hua to deliver the imperial decree earlier.

The eunuch surnamed Sun waved his hand to stop Yue Yuchen from speaking and said, "Young Master Yue, I have heard that you are a direct descendant of the Taoist school and your internal strength is unfathomable. I would like to ask you for a favor."

He pointed to the bed and said...

"His Majesty was frightened after falling into the water, and last night he was also tricked by those two scoundrels, which depleted his vital energy. He needs a master to massage his acupoints and revitalize his blood and qi."

“Our internal energy is too masculine and domineering, not suitable for recuperation. Young Master Yue’s Taoist internal energy is perfect for nourishing His Majesty. I’ll have to trouble you to make a move.”

Yue Yuchen cupped his hands and said, "I will do my best!"

Having said that, he walked to the bedside and grasped the hand of the person on the bed with his right hand. Behind him, the eunuch surnamed Sun swayed, his right hand already on Yue Yuchen's shoulder, the force in his hand almost palpable, full of threat.

Yue Yuchen simply smiled, knowing this was to prevent him from doing anything out of line. He immediately closed his eyes, regulated his breathing, and channeled his inner energy along the other person's meridians to nourish them.

Chapter 52 Rescue the Emperor 2

As Yue Yuchen circulated his internal energy and adjusted his breathing, a vibrant aura emerged in the cabin. A thin mist rose from the figure on the bed, and his complexion gradually became rosy.

An elderly man carrying a medical kit grabbed the man's other wrist and quietly examined his pulse. Then, a smile appeared on his face, and he nodded slightly to the eunuch surnamed Sun.

The eunuch surnamed Sun finally breathed a sigh of relief, and the weariness and worry hidden in his eyes slowly faded away.

Not long after, the person on the bed let out a groan and then slowly opened his eyes. Only then did Yue Yuchen release the person's wrist and step aside.

………………

Seeing that the person on the bed had woken up, the eunuch surnamed Sun stepped forward, helped the person lean against the bed, and then put his hand on the person's wrist.

After a moment, Eunuch Sun breathed a sigh of relief and said with a smile, "It's good that His Majesty is awake. He's alright now."

The old man standing to the side stood up and said, "I will go and prescribe two doses of medicine to prevent and treat the Emperor's cold."

The eunuch surnamed Sun nodded and waved for him to leave: "Tell those good-for-nothings at the door that His Majesty is alright. Interrogate the man we caught carefully."

The old man nodded, picked up his medical kit, and went out. Soon, a cheer came from outside the door.

"Little Bamboo, what's going on?" The young man on the bed asked, his eyes flashing with a sharp light as he rubbed his forehead.

The eunuch Sun Zhu said resentfully, "This servant was only gone for a moment, and the Emperor got into trouble."

Seeing the young man's gaze, Sun Zhu said, "This servant saw it clearly from upstairs. It was Zhang Yong, who was by His Majesty's side, who pushed His Majesty off the deck."

The young man was Emperor Wuzong of Ming, Zhu Houzhao. He rubbed his forehead and nodded wearily: "I'm leaving it all to you."

The eunuch surnamed Sun nodded, then pointed to Yue Yuchen and said, "Your Majesty, this is Yue Yuchen, the number one swordsman in the world whom you have been longing for. It was he who saved Your Majesty and performed acupressure on Your Majesty, which is why you were able to wake up so quickly."

Emperor Wuzong then noticed someone beside him, looked at Yue Yuchen, and suddenly said, "Just as I thought, he is indeed unconventional and different from others."

"Why is Mr. Yue fishing here instead of practicing meditation on Mount Hua?" Zhu Houzhao suddenly asked.

Eunuch Sun's eyes flashed, but he didn't say anything; he just listened quietly.

Yue Yuchen cupped his hands and said, "I had an appointment with an old friend, and it just so happens that we met here."

"Oh, who did Young Master Yue invite?" Sun Zhu asked.

"Invincible East"

Eunuch Sun nodded, and Zhu Houzhao finally smiled slightly: "Thank you for your help this time, sir."

"I was just there by chance," Yue Yuchen said, cupping his hands in greeting.

"Your Majesty, this servant has something to report." A soft, feminine voice came from the doorway.

Zhu Houzhao nodded and called out, "Come in."

Two eunuchs walked in; they were the same two who had been the ones who had attracted attention earlier. They glanced at Yue Yuchen beside them, then lowered their heads and remained silent.

Knowing they had something to say, Yue Yuchen bowed and took his leave.

………………

The deck was now under strict security. Having witnessed this incident, the giant ship no longer lingered and had already sailed south along the Yangtze River estuary, leaving behind only the startled birds in its wake.

After a moment, the eunuch surnamed Sun walked onto the deck and stood beside Yue Yuchen, saying, "Young Master Yue, if you are not in a hurry, why don't you travel with the ship to Nanjing before you leave?"

Seeing Yue Yuchen nod, the eunuch surnamed Sun sighed, "I won't hide it from you, young master. There's a traitor among His Majesty's men, and it's quite a strain for me to take care of him alone. Letting you stay is also partly out of personal consideration."

Yue Yuchen indicated his understanding: "The Grand Guardian is very kind to his master, and I am also returning to Mount Hua, so this is just a side trip."

The eunuch surnamed Sun chuckled...

“Young Master Yue, your journey has been quite smooth.”

"Young Master Yue, rest assured, I have already notified the Ancestor to come out of the capital to meet us. As long as we can reach Nanjing smoothly, none of these clowns are worth fearing."

"I will do my utmost to fulfill your duty to save me, young master."

After the two finished their conversation, Eunuch Sun quickly arranged accommodations for Yue Yuchen and then went off to attend to his business.

Yue Yuchen borrowed a fishing rod and sat alone at the stern of the boat to fish.

………………

At night, Yue Yuchen was meditating in his cabin. Suddenly, a thought struck him, and he got up and opened the door.

At the corner of the door, the eunuch surnamed Sun showed a hint of surprise and doubt, then said, "Young Master Yue, please come with us."

The two quickly arrived at Zhu Houzhao's cabin. At this time, the young emperor's face was flushed and covered in sweat. He seemed to be having a dream, his brows were furrowed, and he looked excited and uneasy.

The old physician beside him also looked worried, muttering to himself, "How could this happen? How could this happen?"

Yue Yuchen nodded, walked over and took his wrist. After a moment, he pondered and said, "What did you give him? His qi and blood were already weak, and now they are boiling even more. It is obvious that he has taken a strong tonic. In addition, his mind is exhausted and he was frightened during the day. This is a case of qi and blood leaving the soul."

Suddenly, the eunuch surnamed Sun walked to the side, opened a brocade box on the bed, and saw that there were originally six pills in the box, but now two were missing.

He crushed the brocade box in one grip and asked, "Does Young Master Yue have a solution?"

Yue Yuchen thought for a moment and said, "I can calm his blood and qi and temporarily alleviate his condition. As for the specifics, we'll have to see how things go later."

Eunuch Sun nodded and said, "Then I'll have to trouble you."

As Yue Yuchen carefully channeled his inner energy to help Ming Wuzong regulate his blood and qi, the flush on his face quickly subsided, and he slowly woke up.

Zhu Houzhao looked up at his surroundings, nodded wearily, and appeared extremely weak.

Yue Yuchen gestured for him to be quiet: "Your Majesty needs to rest well. I have a way to sleep. Your Majesty can simply follow my breathing."

Yue Yuchen used his own internal energy to guide the two of them, and their breathing gradually became synchronized. Before long, Zhu Houzhao had fallen into a deep sleep.

Yue Yuchen nodded to Eunuch Sun: "It's alright for now. He's deficient in both qi and blood, so he can't take any more tonics. Otherwise, he'll definitely damage his vital energy, and the consequences will be unimaginable."

Ignoring the subsequent troubles, Yue Yuchen went straight back to his room. Not long after, he suddenly heard a 'whimper', followed by the sound of a heavy object falling into the water.

………………

The next morning, Yue Yuchen was stretching on the deck, performing a set of Tai Chi movements that combined strength and gentleness, a sight to behold.

Zhu Houzhao had already come out of the room, followed closely by Sun Zhu. Yue Yuchen glanced at him, saw that he looked well, and continued practicing Tai Chi without stopping.

Zhu Houzhao walked over and glanced at it, then started practicing on the side, also using the Wudang secret Tai Chi manual.

Unfortunately, Yue Yuchen could tell at a glance that he had no foundation, his steps were unsteady, and his movements were weak and feeble, and he was just all show and no substance.

Yue Yuchen changed his movements and practiced the same "starting stance" with him. As his true qi circulated, his breathing was as loud as a bell and as long as a whale's breath.

Sun Zhu stood to the side, his expression shifting slightly before he turned a cold gaze to the scene.

As Yue Yuchen's breathing rate changed, Zhu Houzhao was affected and subconsciously followed suit, inhaling and exhaling along with him.

The two of them moved as slowly as old tortoises, taking a full two minutes to complete the first move, "Starting Hand". Then came "Wild Horse Parts Mane" and "White Crane Spreads Wings". After completing a whole set of Tai Chi, more than half an hour had passed.

When the final move, the "closing posture," was completed, Zhu Houzhao let out a long breath. His face was flushed, and he was sweating profusely, but his eyes were bright and shining, and he felt completely relaxed.

Chapter 53 Rescue the Emperor 3

"Mr. Yue, your skills are superb. I feel much more relaxed now." Zhu Houzhao's expression was bright, and he looked radiant.

Yue Yuchen nodded, watching his complexion return to normal, and said...

"Your Majesty previously consumed highly nourishing substances, causing the medicinal effects to accumulate in your body. If this continues, your body will become too weak to handle the nourishment and it will inevitably backfire. Now that your blood and qi are active, some of the medicinal effects are being expelled from your body, which is why you feel this way."

"I have taught Your Majesty a breathing technique. Your Majesty can continue to practice it during your daily rest and when you are practicing boxing. It will be very beneficial to your health. It is best to use those tonics less for the time being."

Zhu Houzhao wiped the sweat from his brow and said helplessly...

"I have also practiced Tai Chi with the senior elders of the Wudang School, but I really couldn't stand listening to their endless talk about Taoism and alchemy."

"Mr. Yue, your method is the best. As long as I can breathe, it's fine. I feel much more relaxed now, and my spirits are much better."

Yue Yuchen nodded and said...

"This is the breathing method used by Taoist predecessors when sitting, lying down, and walking. With long-term practice, it can naturally improve one's physique."

"Your Majesty is only feeling so strongly because you've relaxed for a while. Once your health improves, it won't be so noticeable anymore. Your Majesty should continue to persevere."

Zhu Houzhao nodded in agreement: "This is a good method. Mr. Yue, please teach me these days, and Xiao Zhu will remind me in the future."

Sun Zhu bowed and nodded, reminding him, "The wind is strong on the river. Your Majesty should go back and change your clothes before coming out again. Mr. Yue won't be leaving anytime soon."

Zhu Houzhao nodded and, surrounded by eunuchs, went back to wash up.

Sun Zhu walked to Yue Yuchen's side and said, "I must thank Young Master Yue for his method. His Majesty slept very well last night. I wonder if you could teach me this method?"

Yue Yuchen nodded: "The Grand Eunuch can also practice with you in the future. This is just a simple breathing method. As long as you empty your mind and body and do not have any intention, you can learn it quickly."

Sun Zhu said in surprise, "This is similar to the requirements of Bodhidharma's Yi Jin Jing."

Then he shook his head...

"No wonder His Majesty learned it so quickly. He didn't know it was a profound internal energy cultivation method. He thought it was just simple breathing. He didn't focus his mind on it, so he mastered it very quickly."

"I wonder what kind of martial art this is?"

Yue Yuchen nodded: "The Huashan Introductory Technique, also known as the Quanzhen Great Dao Song, is a skill from the Quanzhen School in the past."

Sun Zhu was surprised, then said with admiration, "Your sect's founder is truly extraordinary, having passed on such profound martial arts to all his disciples."

Yue Yuchen deeply agreed, and said regretfully, "It's a pity. It's easy to get started, but it's extremely difficult to master."

The two talked about martial arts for a while. Although Yue Yuchen had never practiced the Sunflower Manual, he had read the Evil-Repelling Sword Manual and had experience fighting against Dongfang Bubai.

Even a few casual words could make Sun Zhu feel deeply enlightened, and for a time they became extremely compatible.

Before leaving, Sun Zhu said meaningfully, "Wei Bin and Gao Feng, who serve the Emperor, accidentally fell into the water when they got up to use the bathroom last night. When they were pulled out, they were already cold."

Yue Yuchen nodded regretfully, then turned and went back to his room.

………………

When the giant ship arrived in Anqing, an old eunuch with white hair was already waiting on the shore with a group of his disciples and grand-disciples.

Without letting the giant ship dock, the old eunuch had already slipped onto the ship like a ghost. As for his disciples and followers, they could only come over in small boats.

After the old eunuch boarded the ship, he first glanced at Yue Yuchen with surprise, and then Sun Zhu came out, and the two of them whispered to each other.

The old eunuch would glance in Yue Yuchen's direction every now and then, finally nod, and go to see Zhu Houzhao first.

After everyone boarded the ship and set sail, Yue Yuchen returned to his room. Not long after, there was a knock on the door.

Sun Zhu held a stack of manuscripts in his hand and handed them to Yue Yuchen, saying, "There are some things to do on the ship today, Mr. Yue. Why don't you stay in your room and read some books to pass the time, and go out in the afternoon?"

Yue Yuchen didn't ask any further questions, expressed his understanding, and only started reading after seeing Sun Zhu off...
