Chapter 152: Uchiha Hikaru
Chapter 152: Uchiha Hikaru
Kaguya's cool gaze slowly swept over the tailed beasts behind Manji, then turned to Manji beside her: "Manji, could they be the tailed beasts that Hagoromo separated from the Ten-Tails?"
She is extremely sensitive to her own chakra aura.
Although Kaguya had no power, she could still sense the familiar aura from the past, after all, they used to be one.
Even after a long period of time, she could still easily perceive that connection rooted in the origin of chakra.
"right."
He nodded gently ten thousand times.
He then turned to the nine tailed beasts beside him, who looked bewildered and curious, pointed at Kaguya, and introduced her: "Let me formally introduce you, this is Kaguya."
"Theoretically speaking, you are all her children, and the source of your chakra all originated from her."
Upon hearing this, the Tailed Beasts were slightly surprised.
The tailed beasts, who had been whispering amongst themselves, fell silent instantly, staring at Kaguya with expressions of astonishment.
The inexplicable sense of familiarity and oppression they had felt earlier suddenly became clear, and they all showed expressions of sudden realization.
No wonder I felt something was off when I met this woman earlier; I felt both close to her and vaguely wary. So that's the reason.
Their chakra source was actually this seemingly gentle woman in front of them.
"Hmm, you guys have become quite adorable."
Upon hearing this, Kaguya smiled faintly, her eyes softening slightly. She walked slowly to Matatabi, bent down, and gently picked up the still-dazed Matatabi.
"What adorable kittens. I remember they used to be enormous, towering figures, how come they're so small now? Did you shrink them?"
Kaguya gently stroked its soft fur with her fingertips, then turned to look at Manji, her smile deepening.
Wan nodded again, his tone calm: "They have been living in the human world for a long time, and their huge bodies have become quite inconvenient, so I taught them the art of shrinking, so they can control their size at will."
The little body of the boy, who was being held in Kaguya's arms, froze instantly. His eyes showed a hint of dissatisfaction, and he turned his head away awkwardly, looking unwilling.
Kaguya looked at the obedient yet awkward little Tabita in her arms and liked him more and more.
Kaguya simply picked it up and turned it towards Manji, suggesting directly, "It's so cute, why don't you leave it with me to keep me company? I'm usually bored, so I can play with the cat to pass the time."
Wan Ci was slightly taken aback upon hearing this.
Before I could even respond
The pet in my arms instantly bristled!
"Huh!? You really treat me like a pet, huh!?"
Taru suddenly broke free from Kaguya's embrace, leaped, and quickly rushed back into Manji's arms.
"Teacher! You absolutely mustn't agree to this woman's request!"
"I am a dignified two-tailed beast, not a pet to be played with. I refuse to be locked in a cage and kept as a plaything for the rest of my life!"
You Lu looked at Wan Ci and said urgently.
Manji smiled and shook his head, gently stroking the agitated Matarou in his arms, and looked at Kaguya, saying, "This won't do, Kaguya."
"Although they are tailed beasts, they all have independent free will, their own thoughts and choices, and are never objects that can be given away casually."
"Oh?"
Kaguya crossed her arms, a clear hint of displeasure flashing in her eyes.
Given Kaguya's personality, this is not surprising.
In her long-held belief, she could control everything in the world. When she ruled the world, she regarded all humankind as weapons, tools, and even consumables!
In her eyes, things like life and free will were as insignificant as dust, not worth mentioning at all.
In her view, the tailed beasts were originally manifestations of her own chakra, so it was perfectly normal for her to keep them for her amusement.
"Exactly! We are free and equal; this is a principle our teachers taught us long ago!"
Taru peeked out from Manji's arms and glared at Kaguya: "Don't think that just because you've taken human form, you're superior to us tailed beasts."
"Oh!"
Kaguya sneered upon hearing this, a faint yet powerful aura instantly emanating from her. Her gaze swept over Manji, her tone carrying a hint of condescension: "Manji, is this the student you've taught?"
"Back when I was the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki and ruled over everything, you tailed beasts hadn't even developed a complete consciousness yet; you were just a part of my chakra."
"What kind of free will can a bunch of chakra aggregates have?"
"you!"
You Lu was slightly intimidated by her aura, but still opened his mouth defiantly, wanting to continue his retort.
Seeing this, Manci gently raised his hand to stop it, and spoke in a calm tone to mediate: "Alright, since we are all on Mount Myōboku, we are family. Why insist on arguing about who is superior?"
"Kaguya, I cannot leave the Tailed Beasts to you. Their fate is up to them to decide."
Seeing ten thousand times with a firm attitude
Kaguya did not insist any further.
Well known
Wanci is a very family-oriented person.
Like the tailed beasts, whatever requests people like Gamamaru, Fukasaku, Black Zetsu, and Indra make, they will try their best to fulfill them ten thousand times.
Kaguya knew she was different; she knew she was nothing in Manji's eyes.
Its status is even lower than that of a tailed beast.
Kaguya tilted her head slightly and slowly said, "Could you help me find someone to keep me company?"
"I want a girl, not those dull white Zetsu, or those mountain toads, they're too boring."
Wan paused slightly upon hearing this, pondered for a moment, then gently shook his head and said directly, "No."
Kaguya, however, seemed to have already chosen a candidate and immediately said, "I remember when you were pacifying the world and eliminating demons, wasn't there an unnamed girl from the Uchiha clan who was just a tool?"
"That child looks pitiful. Did you kill her back then? Bring her to Mount Myōboku and let her keep me company."
"The Uchiha clan?"
Manji's brows furrowed slightly for a moment, and a slender figure flashed through his mind—it was Uchiha Hikaru.
Wan Ci sighed softly in his heart. Back in the chaotic world, he had intervened to quell the strife and killed the enemy in an instant.
Now, the child's soul has long been banished to the Pure Land.
Upon closer reflection, Uchiha Hikaru did indeed suffer an undeserved misfortune.
Upon closer examination, Uchiha Hikaru was only recently brought into the Uchiha clan's service, and he was quite young, so he didn't have much blood on his hands.
He himself, along with the allied forces, killed Guang.
Uchiha Hikaru is truly unlucky.
He didn't receive much love from his parents when he was born, and then he was caught up in the disadvantages of the Uchiha clan.
After Uchiha Sa's death
With the combined power of Tsuru and Black Zetsu, the Senju clan severely punished the Uchiha clan, and Uchiha Hikaru was born during that period.
After Hikaru awakened the Mangekyou Sharingan in childhood, he was targeted by the Uchiha higher-ups. Before he could enjoy it much, he was given various powers and taken to capture tailed beasts.
In the past millennium, there have only been two large-scale interventions.
One time was when I fought the Feathered Robe, and the other time was when I vanquished the Demon.
Unfortunately, Uchiha Hikaru happened to be there.
After he died, he was sent to work in the Pure Land.
It's really unlucky that Uchiha Hikaru, who was not even twelve years old, encountered so many unfortunate things.
