Darren stood outside the fireplace, surveying the Ministry of Magic.
The place has changed a lot since he first came in.
The biggest change was the huge statue in the Ministry of Magic's main hall.
Once upon a time, house-elves, fairies, and centaurs surrounded a male and female wizard.
Now it has turned into a group of Muggle statues being trampled underfoot by a handsome wizard.
These Muggle statues have become incredibly stupid, looking like children with Down syndrome.
This clearly demonstrates the Ministry of Magic's current pace.
"How disgusting!"
Darren shook his head and said.
"What are you saying? Excuse me... Oh, Yalin, sorry!"
A crisp voice came.
Darren turned to look.
Miss Becky Greengrass was looking at him with an arrogant air.
They said sorry, but there was no real feeling of remorse.
"Excuse me, please!"
Becky pouted.
It seems that polite language was used.
It seems that Mr. Martin Yalin holds a rather high position.
Darren smiled and gave up his small seat...

Chapter 693 Quick, hide!
Becky glanced at Darren with surprise, then seemed to chuckle, and walked away without looking back.
At that moment, a slender witch appeared; it was Hermione.
Then two more figures climbed out.
"This feels really bad."
Harry muttered.
Hermione didn't hear what he said; she looked at the statue that Darren had been looking at earlier.
A look of disgust appeared on his face.
"Alright, Muggles, stay where you're supposed to be. Let's leave!"
Darren pulled her up.
Hermione nodded.
At this time, the Ministry of Magic was packed with wizards.
They quickly followed the wizards and blended into the crowd.
But just as they were getting into character, a voice rang out, shouting, "Catermore!"
Harry immediately turned to look.
It's Yaxley.
He appeared on the night Dumbledore died.
He was also the wizard who ultimately used Harry to threaten Darren.
He gave Snape the opportunity to ambush Darren, otherwise Darren would have definitely killed Snape.
Harry tried his best to control his expression, pretending that he was just an ordinary person.
Ron's face, however, was filled with despair.
Because the Cattermole that Yaxley called out to was him.
He simply couldn't imagine what connection he, a man whose wife was about to be tried, could have with Yaxley.
"Don't pretend you can't hear me, Cattermole. My office is leaking, and I expect you to fix it, or else..."
I think you know that I was the one who went to judge her, right?
Ron stared wide-eyed in embarrassment.
Alex looked a little annoyed.
"What's with that expression? Hurry up and go, or I'll add more charges to your wife's record. You know I can do it."
If you ask me, when it comes to marriage, I'd definitely marry a witch from a noble family. If my wife were some kind of mud-blooded person, I'd kill her myself!
Of course, I would never marry that kind of woman, but you're different… Choosing someone to marry is a kind of wisdom!
Ron nodded awkwardly.
"Then why don't you go quickly!"
Yaxley roared loudly.
Ron nodded quickly.
Yaxley then left, seemingly winking at Darren before he did, but Darren wasn't sure if it was him who winked.
He didn't take it to heart, but instead looked at Ron.
Because of Yaxley's threat, Ron's surroundings were immediately cleaned up.
Only Darren and a few others remained.
Ron quickly led them to the elevator, then said with a pained expression, "What should I do? If I don't go, my wife will be... no, I mean Cattermole's wife... But I don't know how to fix a leak!"
"Try the weather spell, and the water and fire immunity spell. Also, you could try the reconstruction spell, which can completely renovate his house. And..."
Darren was talking to him.
Ron quickly pulled out paper and pen.
"Slow down, slow down, tell me the incantation too, I don't quite remember it..."
The elevator continued to go up.
Ron quickly took notes.
Then the elevator stopped on the second floor.
Hermione gave Ron a shove.
"This is it, hurry!"
Ron was pushed out by her.
They were about to close the elevator doors when a hand blocked them.
It's Becky.
She looked at everyone in the elevator with disdain.
Then she turned to Darren and said, "Yarin, I remember you should be in your office writing your confession right now, instead of wandering around here leisurely!"
"I'll write it as soon as I get back!"
Darren quickly replied.
But Becky sneered, "I think you don't have time to write anymore, because I'm going to punish you by making you do something else!"
Hermione and Harry turned pale. They even tried to knock Becky unconscious.
But Darren blocked them.
He looked at Becky with a serious expression and said, "What should I be punished for?"
"Of course, you should renovate my office properly until I'm satisfied." Hermione and Harry's expressions grew even paler.
They were worried that the witch might do something to Darren.
Becky Greengrass was no pushover in school.
I heard that she is also very supportive of the mysterious man's actions, and she and her family are his staunch supporters.
Darren's character has clearly offended her. It's unclear what kind of punishment he'll receive.
But Darren wouldn't let them interfere.
He kept telling them to do what they were supposed to do and to ignore them.
This forced Harry and his friends to feign indifference towards Darren's departure, as Darren didn't believe Becky truly intended to punish him...
He thought that perhaps Becky had discovered something.
Sure enough, after Becky led her to her office with a cold smile, Becky's expression changed.
