Chapter 683 Dumbledore's Will!!

The banquet is about to begin.

Lupin and the others were already seated.

Although they had received word that Voldemort and his Death Eaters were about to attack.

But they weren't very worried.

Because the Ministry of Magic also kept the Aurors outside.

They planned to engage the Death Eaters in a direct confrontation to weaken them; the Order of the Phoenix couldn't remain inactive with the Death Eaters forever.

Of course, once the Death Eaters rush in, non-combatants must use the door key to leave quickly.

Most of everyone's luggage has been put in Place Grimoire over the past few days.

"Let's begin! We don't need to wait for Arthur any longer!"

Mrs. Westlake said with a smile.

But she hadn't finished speaking.

A guardian deity resembling a rat has already rushed onto the table.

It spoke in Mr. Weasley's voice: "The minister is coming soon, everyone get ready!"

I'm leaving first!"

Lupin immediately stood up.

Then he disappeared from there.

Then, the next second.

Scrimgeour then appeared at the Burrow.

His face was serious.

He looked at Darren, Harry, Chi Mink, and Ron and said, "Kids, find me a quiet place. I need to tell you something about Dumbledore."

Sirius Black and the Wesley family exchanged a glance.

Their eyes were filled with distrust.

But no one dared to make any rash moves.

Because Darren didn't ask them for help.

Darren led Harry and the others to an empty house.

He looked at Scrimgeour and said, "Minister, can you tell us if there's anything Headmaster Dumbledore wants to tell us?"

"It's about Dumbledore's will. I think I need to speak with you privately."

"Speaking of this matter, I think I have some right to express my thoughts."

Headmaster Dumbledore once told me that all his possessions would be mine, but after his death I received nothing at all.

Darren laughed mockingly.

Scrimgeour's expression was not good.

"The Ministry of Magic has the authority."

"I'm sorry, the Ministry of Magic only has the right to deal with items related to dark magic, not the right to withhold someone's inheritance."

And I think you've come to us now only because the withholding of the magic's legacy, which is due in no later than thirty-one days, has expired.

If you don't give it to us, it's illegal for a minister to break the law. It's truly laughable.

Darren laughed sarcastically.

Darren felt extremely grateful to Hermione.

This inherited knowledge was thanks to the ever-learned and all-knowing Miss Granger.

Hermione's face lit up with pride. Scrimgeour's expression darkened further.

His eyes swept past Darren.

They placed their orders on Ron, who was the easiest to extract information from.

"Ron Wesley, are you and Dumbledore on good terms?"

"Not at all."

Ron was about to speak.

But Hermione stomped on his foot hard.

"Dumbledore was very fond of Ron, and he often said that Ron was his prized student!"

Darren laughed.

Scrimgeour's expression grew even uglier.

He looked at the will and said, "Dumbledore mentioned in his will that his Deluminator should be given to Ron."

He took out the lights off.

Ron took it, looking completely bewildered.

"Why do you think Dumbledore gave you the Deluminator?"

lamp?"

Ron looked at the deluminator with a conflicted expression, then hesitated before saying, "Letting me turn it off will obviously not convince Scrimgeour."

But Ron was telling the truth, and who knows what Dumbledore was thinking?

Scrimgeour could only look at Hermione.

"Dumbledore's legacy is to give you this book, The Tales of Beedle the Bard."

Hermione picked up the book of stories.

Her tears slowly fell.

"Do you know why he gave you this book? Do you have a special way of communicating?"

Scrimgeour stared into Hermione's eyes.

Hermione laughed sarcastically.

"How do you think I, an ordinary student, could possibly have a secret way of communicating with someone as important as Headmaster Dumbledore?"

Scrimgeour's expression grew even more displeased.

Then he looked at Dumbledore's will and said, "Next is Harry Potter's. Dumbledore said he would leave the sword of Gryffindor to Harry."

"Then, where is the sword?"

Darren stared intently at Scrinker.

Scrimgeour remained silent for a moment.

Finally, he said, "The Gryffindor sword belongs to Hogwarts; it is not Dumbledore's personal property, therefore, he cannot give it away..."

Harry and the others looked at each other in bewilderment.

Scrimgeour asked again, “Of course, if you are willing to tell me what Dumbledore’s purpose was in giving you these things, I will give them to you.”

"Perhaps he wants us to use the sword to kill Voldemort!"

Harry said sarcastically.

Scrimgeour gave him a cold look.

Then, looking at the will, he said again, "So, the last will is for Darren Lemaport."

Dumbledore has entrusted all his assets to you.

His possessions included 100,000 Galleons in Gringotts and his house in Godric's Hollow.

Finally, there's his wand; he believes it will belong to you too.

However, his wand was placed next to him during his funeral, so we cannot give it to you.

Scrimgeour said, not too apologetically.

Darren frowned.

He suddenly asked, "Did Headmaster Dumbledore leave me any written instructions in his will?"

"Yes, would you be willing to explain it to me?"

"Scringer asked."

Darren remained silent.

Scrimgeour could only look down at the will and read aloud what Dumbledore had written on it.

“When you get to the end, Darren, you can come and discuss it with me.”

"But he's already dead, isn't he?"
