Of course, she also took the opportunity to ask Darren if he would stay at the school.
Darren, who had previously said he had a high chance of staying on at the university, looked rather unwell and said he needed to think about it some more.
This made Professor McGonagall extremely upset.
She knew it was the school atmosphere that had made Darren dislike it. But there was nothing she could change.
She even told Darren that he should be more patient.
It's best to avoid conflict with Umbridge, then with Snape, and then with Professor Flitwick.
Professor Flitwick did the same, telling them about the importance of the common wizarding level exams.
He also had everyone review the Flying Mantra.
He believed this was the most likely content to be tested in the regular wizarding level exams.
Of course, he also spoke with Darren and warned him to be careful to avoid being retaliated against in private.
“Severus is your dean, he can definitely do this. I saw him secretly discussing these things with Umbridge before!”

Chapter 533 Attention-seeking!
noon.
As Darren had expected, Harry and the others arrived while Darren was eating at the Slytherin table.
They wanted to ask him what exactly happened between him and Snape last night. Snape had said this morning that Darren had also been very rude in his office last night.
This was an incredible thing for Darren.
After all, from first grade until now, Darren has always insisted that Snape is a good person. When facing Voldemort, Darren has never said a bad word about Snape.
Why did things suddenly turn out like this? Did Snape do something awful? Darren noticed that Snape had focused on Harry the moment he arrived. He knew Snape wanted to see his acting skills; it was homework Snape had given him the night before.
Darren feigned hesitation before uttering a somewhat clumsy lie.
"It's nothing, yesterday, yesterday... last night, Professor Snape and I had a little... a little argument about some things, and I lost my temper..."
Snape looked at him helplessly.
Because, in his view, Darren's lies were full of holes.
But to his surprise, Harry and the others actually believed Darren when he said that.
Snape suddenly felt a little lost.
Are Harry and his friends just not smart enough, or is lying simply a way of doing things?
There is a class on protecting magical creatures in the afternoon.
Professor Glapland still likes Darren very much.
She gave Darren a Bowtruckle so he could come over and help her raise it whenever he had free time.
However, Harry and his friends didn't like Professor Grappleland because he wouldn't tell them where Hagrid had gone.
Furthermore, Grapland is suspected of trying to curry favor with Darren. This is what Harry and Ron secretly told each other.
They both believed that Professor Glapland knew Darren was popular, so he deliberately used the Bowtruckle to curry favor with him.
"Darren really likes that Bowtruckle, that's what she wanted!"
Ron secretly told Harry.
Darren pretended not to hear what they were saying. He was there tending to his hunchback, pretending to really like it.
That way, Harry will have to decide whether he likes Hagrid or Grapland.
Clearly, he felt Hagrid was fine as a friend, but as a professor, he felt he was far from suitable.
However, such evaluations would obviously not make Harry and the other kids happy, so he deliberately avoided highlighting his presence on this issue.
While he was listening intently to Professor Grapland's lecture, he noticed Malfoy quietly approaching Harry.
He barely needed to think to know that Malfoy was there to mock Harry. This guy really has a lot of free time on his hands.
However, Harry was indeed quite influenced by Malfoy. Darren didn't hear what they were saying.
But Harry was scratched by the Bowtruckle.
With his hands covered in blood, he rushed out as the bell rang to signal the end of get out of class.
Darren looked worried, returned the Bowtruckle to Professor Glapland, and then walked into the castle.
When he finally caught up with Harry, he saw Luna coming out of Sprout's Herbology class greenhouse.
Ginny and the others came out with him. Luna suddenly rushed in front of him.
She shouted, "Darren, I believe what you and Harry said. You two saw the Man from Darkness return, and the person on that projection is the Man from Darkness!"
"Thanks……"
Darren showed a grateful expression. Hermione, however, showed no gratitude whatsoever.
She pursed her lips and said, "She's just trying to attract attention here because she's already joined the Order of the Phoenix. She must have already believed that the mysterious man has returned!"
"Don't do this, Hermione... Luna saved my life, can't you give her some respect for that?"
I admit, she's different from other girls. She's a bit strange, and some people even say she's crazy, but she's a really good person!
[Ding, Fatherhood Value +20]
[Ding, Fatherhood Value +40]
[Ding, Fatherhood Value +30]
[Ding...] Darren accepted the Holy Father Value.
Obviously, praising Luna doesn't earn you many "Holy Father" points.
Many people thought Luna was a strange girl. But he still kept his eyes on Hermione.
Hermione was a little unhappy, but she nodded nonetheless.
"Okay, even though I just can't bring myself to like her, I'll be nicer to her if she doesn't argue with me!"
Hermione muttered.
Darren smiled at her. She lowered her head a little shyly.
Of course, besides Luna supporting them, there was also Ernie, the boy who suspected Darren was the Slytherin heir in their second year.
He shouted loudly, "Darren, Harry, I support you too! It's not just that weirdo Luna who supports you!"
Darren naturally expressed his gratitude.
But his joy vanished once he entered Sprout's greenhouse.
This time, Professor Sprout had them deal with dragon dung. A whole hour and a half of class time!
Darren could hardly believe that he was just like everyone else, processing Professor Sprout's favorite fertilizer in the stuffy classroom.
When he stepped out of the greenhouse, all he had left was the thought of rushing back to take a shower.
But before they left, Professor Sprout assigned them a lot of homework.
There is also a long paper.
In order to keep pushing the quill pen to its limits, Darren didn't even show up for dinner in the auditorium; he urged the quill pen to finish its homework.
But when he went to Snape's office for solitary confinement with his schoolbag, he discovered that he still had a huge amount of homework to do.
Snape always made him do his homework in the office. Darren used to think it was a good habit. But now Darren just felt tired.
He's already exhausted from teaching all day.
The only fun I had was squeezing the quill pen out of him to do his homework.
Now he has to do his own homework, and there's so much of it to do.
He suspected that if he were to do these assignments himself, he might have to work until the early hours of tomorrow morning.
He figured that after he finished his solitary confinement at Snape's, he could come back and have Quill do his homework; at most, he'd just sleep in a little later.
He can read comic books while directing a quill pen to do his homework.
All he had to do was get Snape to agree to let him do his homework after he left his office.
This is actually not difficult.
Because Darren came up with a great idea in no time.
An idea that would get Snape to let him go home earlier every day. (Performance.)
Not bad.
He planned to tell Snape so that Snape and Dumbledore could investigate.
What they would do if he just reenacted those scenes every night.
That way Snape won't be constantly trying to get him to practice acting. I don't know what they were thinking, making the young Snape learn acting!
