The minister had Tonks interrogate the suspects inside and had him stand guard outside.

According to Fudge, the concern was that Death Eaters might come and force the children inside to change their story.

In reality, only insiders knew that this was because they were worried that Dumbledore would come and make the boy change his story.

Alex scoffed at such a minister.

But what can you do when someone is a minister?

Tonks wasn't quite sure about those things, and when he heard Alex ask, he scratched his head in confusion.

Her hair was a mess.

And the colorful array of colors is a headache to look at.

Alex looked at her curiously.

This is what Tonks looks like when she's conflicted.

She looks different depending on her mood.

Everyone in the department knows.

"The review is complete. Take a look..."

Tonks wrote down what Darren had just said.

She didn't exaggerate at all; she simply recorded what Darren said.

But Alex was completely dumbfounded.

"Is he crazy? He was tricked by those students into coming to the Death Eaters' side, why doesn't he say so?"

Why didn't he talk about the torture he was subjected to by those people? And he…”

“How should I know? He only said that much, and then he asked to go see those students, so I comforted him... and now this is how it is.”

Tonks reluctantly opened the door a crack, and they saw Darren looking out the window with red eyes and a sorrowful expression.

"But this is so little..."

Alex looked hesitant.

Fudge demanded that they ask more detailed questions, preferably to find out who the 'mastermind' was.

"Then go in and ask yourself. I'm not going back. I almost cried just now. I'm really bad at comforting people..."

"Tonks said with a sarcastic tone."

Alex scratched his head; he ultimately decided against going in to interrogate Darren.

He felt the boy should be fine, and since he would be in court tomorrow, others would ask him other questions.

He doesn't need to understand everything.

Without thinking twice, he sent the interrogation results over by owl.

Fudge did not specify when the results would be delivered to him.

He was just asking for a dubious result.

So the owl should arrive around tomorrow morning, no problem.

As for Darren's interrogation results...

The boy took all the blame upon himself, which is suspicious, isn't it?

He thought about it and felt there was no problem at all.

Chapter 195 The Bald Wizard!

Darren was woken up by Tonks early the next morning.

This girl is overflowing with compassion.

Because I felt sorry for him, I brought him food yesterday.

She made it herself.

It tastes pretty good.

Darren pretended to be distraught and ate two large bowls of food.

If Tonks hadn't only brought two bowls, he would have loved to eat another one.

Of course, there were also things about this girl that annoyed him.

He asked Tonks to borrow a storybook for him.

Who knew that Tonks would send him a joke book?

The above are all lame jokes.

He watched those jokes, then stopped laughing. It was only because he was so worldly-wise that he didn't freeze to death. He didn't want to watch them, but he was so bored that he could only blankly flip through books all day, hoping that the Ministry of Magic would send him back soon.

“We’ll Apparate to central London and enter the Ministry of Magic through a telephone booth there. Darren, are you ready?”

Tonks told Darren about his schedule, then asked with some concern.

She worried that Darren would still take all the blame for his mistakes, which could cause a lot of misunderstandings.

But she didn't have a chance to bring it up yesterday because Darren's expression was off the whole time.

He borrowed a storybook from them and sat there reading it.

But she remained expressionless throughout the entire viewing; she remembered that she had chosen a joke book.

She couldn't even laugh at the joke book, and she thought with pity, "This child must be feeling terrible."

They used Apparition to reach the center of London.

Tonks and Alex carefully shielded Darren in the middle.

Since Darren could be attacked by Death Eaters at Hogwarts, he could also be attacked outside.

These are all things that need to be prevented.

They don't have a heart as big as Fudge's.

So many students have died, and he's still thinking about how to bring Dumbledore down from his pedestal. "We've arrived!"

Alex pointed to a red telephone booth.

"You go in first!"

He looked at Darren cautiously.

Darren nodded and stepped into the dilapidated phone booth.

The glass on the phone booth is gone, and the area against the wall is covered in graffiti.

It looked dirty and didn't resemble a Ministry of Magic telephone booth at all.

As Darren entered, Tonks quickly squeezed in as well.

Darren felt like his face was buried in her arms.

"Sorry...it's just too crowded..."

Tonks said somewhat embarrassedly.

She took the phone from Darren.

"Let me think, the phone number is 62...442... Okay."

As Tonks dialed the number, a voice came from inside the phone booth.

Darren noticed that the voice wasn't coming from the telephone receiver, but rather as if a woman was standing around them.

"Welcome to the Ministry of Magic. Please state your name and what you wish to do."

"Um, Tonks Niffadora, Auror Command... I've brought Darren Porter to the court hearing!"

"Thank you, guests. Please take the badge and pin it on your clothes!"

The woman's voice said.

Then a square silver badge suddenly appeared on the phone booth.

It says on it: Darren Porter, on trial.

It's the same as Harry in the original book.

Tonks clumsily pinned it to Darren's collar, because they were so close together that Darren couldn't move at all.

"Okay, don't worry, I've got it done for you!"

Tonks said with a smile, earning a grateful look from Darren.

After the badge was pinned on, the woman's voice rang out again.
