He said he won it from a bet with someone, but who would carry around a dragon egg all day long?

And Hagrid even got the dragon egg?

Hagrid liked dragon eggs, so he got one. Was he really just a gambler?

Harry ran while shouting loudly…

What exactly are you talking about?

Ron asked, puzzled. Hermione seemed thoughtful.

Darren hesitated for a moment before saying, "What my brother means is that that person might have deliberately approached Hagrid in order to find out how Lou Williams got through!"

"Darren is right!"

"My God!"

Hermione screamed. They ran even faster.

Finally, they arrived outside Hagrid's cabin, panting heavily.

"Why are you here? Isn't today the exam?"

"Well, the exam's over, Hagrid. I have something to ask you!"

Harry, panting, approached Hagrid, who looked at him with a puzzled expression.

"Hagrid, do you remember the guy who bet you on Norbert the other day? What did he look like?"

"I don't know, he refused to take off his cloak."

Hagrid said casually.

Seeing their terrified looks, he said with a hint of helplessness, "Many people at the Pig's Head Bar are unwilling to take off their cloaks; it's a local custom."

"Okay, do you remember what he asked you?"

"I remember, at first he asked me what I did for a living... then he asked me what animal I liked, and I said dragon... then he kept buying me alcohol... he even made a bet with me, saying I couldn't tame a dragon..."

How could that be? Of course I can handle a fire dragon… I told them I could even subdue a three-headed Luwei…”

Hagrid recalled.

Harry gave a wry smile and tentatively asked, "Is he interested in Fluffy?"

“Oh yes, the three-headed dog… I told them it would fall asleep if I played some music… Good heavens, I told you…”

Hagrid exclaimed in horror, "Forget them! Listen to me, that's Dumbledore! Where are you going?"

Before he could finish speaking, Darren was pulled away by Harry, followed by Hermione and Ron.

He was left alone, standing there blankly, watching their retreating figures with a puzzled expression.

Chapter 114 Snape's Daily Rant!

Harry pulled Darren along and ran to the castle.

He frowned and looked around, noticing Hermione and the others had followed. He quickly said, "We need to find Dumbledore. Hagrid told someone else how to get through to Fluffy..."

As for the evidence, Ferenczek will testify for us… Oh, Darren, Ferenczek was the centaur who saved me that day.”

Harry hurried to explain.

But then he started worrying about how to get to Dumbledore's office. Luckily, Darren knew.

They quickly arrived at Dumbledore's office door, only to find that Dumbledore had gone out.

"This is terrible! Snape is definitely going to steal the Philosopher's Stone right now."

Now that all the other professors are grading papers and Dumbledore has left the school, this is the perfect opportunity!

Harry paced anxiously back and forth.

Then they saw Professor McGonagall outside Dumbledore's office. Professor McGonagall was carrying a stack of exam papers.

"What are you all doing here? Oh, and Darren, why don't you go enjoy your leisurely afternoon?"

"Professor McGonagall, we need to find Headmaster Dumbledore. Do you know where he is?"

Hermione asked immediately.

"Looking for Headmaster Dumbledore? What's the matter?"

Professor McGonagall looked at them with a puzzled expression, seemingly not understanding why they wanted to see the principal.

"can not tell you!"

Ron blurted out.

Then they saw Professor McGonagall get angry. Her nostrils flared, and she said coldly, "Headmaster Dumbledore has left. Ten minutes ago, he received an urgent letter from the Ministry of Magic and immediately flew to London."

"London?!"

Harry and the others were shocked. Why were they out at this hour?

"Then can you get in touch with him? We really have something very urgent to tell him, it's about the Philosopher's Stone..."

Harry said, ignoring everything else.

At this point, with Snape about to steal the Philosopher's Stone, he didn't want to wait for Dumbledore to return any longer.

He thought Professor McGonagall was also trustworthy. Whoosh!

Professor McGonagall was startled, and the test paper in her hand fell to the ground. She didn't pick it up.

"How...how did you know..."

She asked, stammering.

"I think Sneaky... someone is trying to steal it!"

Harry quickly answered her.

Professor McGonagall looked even more incredulous. She opened her mouth, then stammered, "Professor Dumbledore will be back tomorrow. I think you should go back. The Philosopher's Stone is under the professors' tight protection; it's not something you should be asking about..."

As she spoke, she bent down to pick up the books. After she finished, she glanced at them one last time and said, "Go back, children!"

She walked away. Harry said helplessly, "By the time Dumbledore returns tomorrow, Snape will probably have already given the Philosopher's Stone to Voldemort."

And that letter was definitely from Snape; I dare say the Ministry of Magic didn't send any urgent letter at all!

"But we can also..."

Hermione suddenly gasped.

Darren and the others turned their heads and saw Snape standing behind them.

"good afternoon………"

Snape said in a drawn-out tone.

"Hello, Professor Snape!"

Darren quickly and obediently responded.

His eyes were full of trust, which stunned Snape.

His eyes glazed over instantly, and he looked away, turning his gaze to Harry.

"Potter, I hope you won't go out at night again next time. Gryffindor has already deducted no more points from you..."

A sarcastic smile appeared on his face, which Harry thought was already quite mocking, but then he heard him continue, "If I find out again, I'll expel you, personally... Good luck!"

Snape turned and left, his retreating figure surprisingly radiating pleasure. Clearly, the old virgin had completed his daily dose of sarcasm.

Harry was almost furious.

If he weren't afraid of being beaten to death by Snape, he would have fought that bastard to the death. Hermione and the others pulled Harry out of the castle.

It took Harry a while to calm down after standing in the sunlight.

“Now, we need someone to keep an eye on the teachers' lounge. Hermione, you go check it out.”

Harry said to Hermione.

"Brother, let me go. Even if the professor notices me, he won't deduct points from my score."

Darren quickly said, but Hermione stopped him.

"Don't be silly, he won't deduct points, but he will punish you... At least he won't hit girls."

Hermione sighed and went to the faculty lounge.

Harry looked at Darren and suddenly said, "Darren, I also have a task for you!"

Darren nodded, his green eyes looking obediently at Harry. Harry's heart softened.

This is his younger brother. Then he said seriously:

"Darren, go and keep watch in the Slytherin common room to prevent Snape from going back. If he does go back, try to stop him, okay?"

Darren was stunned.

He felt that Snape couldn't possibly go to the Slytherin common room at this time.
