Chapter 207: Queen Bee Part 3
Chapter 207: Queen Bee Part 3
"AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!"
The Queen Bee screamed with every bit of air in her lungs, her body trembling intensely from the stimulation she was feeling thanks to the Thunder coursing through her. My hand, clamped around her ankle, sent my magic through her entire body.
The electric current I had subjected her to had already destroyed her wing in her previous form, but now that she was in direct contact with me, the effect was electrifying.
Yellow sparks danced around her body, and the smell of burning began to rise from her. My direct attack had been more effective than I thought, turning the situation in my favor. The biggest inconvenience was the position I was in, beneath her with a view from between her legs, where I could see her bee stinger on a two-colored bulb attached to her back.
"LET ME GO, YOU VERMIN!!" she screamed, kicking me hard.
"Ugh!" A groan of pain escaped me as she kicked my head fiercely, as if her life depended on it. And in fact, it did. She was in a very vulnerable position, at the mercy of my magic.
I knew I couldn’t let her go, so I held on to her firmly. When I had almost no power at all, I had clung tightly to a Sheep that had nearly managed to kill me. If a few kicks were all she could do, then there was no way I would let go. Especially now that her concentration had been broken.
Thanks to Thunder, and all the pain it caused her, Graviray had been undone. The increased force of gravity was no longer crushing my body against the ground, so I could keep myself attached to her with more strength in my grip. I ignored the discomfort of my position and called upon my skill again.
"Thunder!"
"AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" The Queen let out another loud, hysterical scream as she suffered once again from my electric attack.

Her Health Points were now very close to half. I could take advantage of the position I was in, which, as bad as it was for combat, allowed me to deal guaranteed damage directly to her.
That was what I had in mind, but my plan was thwarted by my enemy. She raised her arm, and the claw she had in place of a hand seemed to swell, becoming larger and sharper than it had been before.
Even through the pain of being electrocuted, she drove her claw towards the ground, where my hand was holding her foot. Her plan was obvious: to rip off my hand and escape my reach. Her strike was fast, and I had to think even faster. In the end, I chose to let go and keep my hand intact.
I put some distance between myself and the Queen Bee, then observed her for a brief moment. She was gasping, probably after my electric shock session, but her expression was filled with intense fury. She extended the hand that looked closest to a human’s towards me, and I imitated the gesture, ready to launch a spell against her.
My intuition told me she wouldn’t use Graviray. If she used that spell, which required her to maintain concentration, it would soon be undone so she could dodge my attack. The good news was that I knew what other powers she had in her arsenal.
"Graviton!" She called upon her second skill. In the palm of her hand, the air began to gather, forming a dark sphere.
Her power gathered a mass of air and dust into a small space with a very strong gravitational field. Taking an attack like that would cause me a lot of damage, as if a bowling ball had been thrown at me at high speed.
As quickly as the sphere had formed, it was hurled towards me. I didn’t intend to run from her attack. We had the same amount of Magic Points, which meant our firepower was evenly matched.
"Crystal Wall!"
When I called upon my Saintess Class skill, a transparent wall appeared in front of me, standing between me and the spell of the creature I was facing. The massive, dark ball coming towards me at high speed collided with my Crystal Wall.
"Ugh!" A groan of effort escaped me when I felt the pressure of her attack against my defense.
Our Magic Points were indeed equal, but I could still feel her power. Small cracks spread across the transparent wall right in front of me. And it wasn’t only the wall that was being scratched.
The pressure of the attack was so great on my right hand, which held my skill, that scratches appeared around it, tears opening in my flesh as my blood flowed out.
The fight wasn’t over. Even with our strength equal, if I didn’t put everything I had into it, the wall would fall, and Graviton would hit me head-on. At that speed, the dark ball would pierce straight through my body without a doubt.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!" I shouted with all my strength, supporting my right hand with my left and planting my foot into the earth.
I was determined not to lose that clash of powers no matter what. Every cell in my body was focused solely on not giving in against that blow.
The sphere seemed to press itself against the Crystal Wall, until it shattered.
"Boooom!!"
A resounding explosion went off right in front of my face, raising dust from where I stood. Fortunately, my Crystal Wall, which I had obtained thanks to Alicia, had protected me from the explosion, but now it wasn’t there to protect me from a second attack.
It was hard to see because of the cloud of dirt that had risen, and the sound of the explosion still echoed in my ears, disorienting me, so I had trouble knowing exactly where my enemy was.
I took a deep breath, trying to put my senses in order, but the dizziness was still washing over me. Fighting in that situation was bad. I had to recover quickly before that curtain of dust dissipated, or I would be in trouble.
The only good side of that situation was that she couldn’t use Graviray against me, because she would need to focus on where I was to do that. Without being able to see where I was, her actions were limited.
"Unless—" A possibility crossed my mind, reminding me of a scene from SCRL, from a similar fight between her and Leo.
The tension of what could happen helped my senses snap back into place from the shock. Indeed, Graviray affected only a small area, but she wasn’t unable to use her magic against me. As long as she knew where she was attacking, that hardly mattered. I began moving my body to avoid the worst.
"Graviray~" She called upon her skill with a hint of satisfaction in her voice.
It was exactly as I had thought. A few meters away from me, close to where I had been before, I noticed the column of dust being cut apart, with a hole at the top where the blue sky could be seen.
"Graviray~" She continued her blind attacks. Fortunately, without her usual precision, she missed again.
The Queen Bee was attacking the cloud of dust, searching for me. Even if she missed, her attacks sent the raised dust back to the ground, little by little dissipating the cloud that obstructed both her vision and mine.
"Graviton~"
I rolled on the ground the moment I felt the pressure of her attack coming near me. Thanks to that instinctive movement, I managed to avoid being hit right in the head.
"Ho!" the creature with feminine features said with delight. "It seems like a human. Looks like this fight is going to have a very quick ending!"
"You’re right!" I shouted to her. "This fight will end soon. With my victory, of course."
"You are far too arrogant for a mere human. Do you not fear being this close to death?"
"Honey, if I were that afraid of death, I wouldn’t have left my hometown." I said that while launching a fireball towards the Queen Bee’s voice, then running close behind the attack.
I wouldn’t get anything good from staying in that cloud of dust, but I needed an opening to escape it, and using an attack as cover seemed like an excellent way out.
I was right behind the fireball, and there she was, dodging to the side of my flaming attack. When our eyes met, I was sure I needed to act quickly, or else she would fly upwards, escaping from me.
"Flash Thrasher!" I increased my speed using my Swordmaster skill, closing the distance between us.
"Persistent human!" Enraged, she tried a diagonal attack against me using her claw. I already had an attack aimed at her body, and at this rate, I would be hit in the head first.
"Thunderblade!" My sword spun in my hand, and with a skillful movement, it rose, charged with electricity, cutting off my opponent’s claw.
