Chapter 267 The Fierce Little White
Chapter 267 The Fierce Little White
Seizing the opportunity, the clone unleashed the Star Ray once more, like a scythe of death, aiming straight for Gruul, who was dazed and disoriented by the repulsive force and whose shield was on the verge of breaking!
"No!!" Gruul's eyes widened in horror, and he could only barely raise the Rockbreaker to shield himself.
clang--!!
The azure beam of light struck the massive blade, producing a deafening roar!
Gruul was blasted backward dozens of meters along with his sword. His arms went numb, his tiger's mouth split open and blood gushed out. His already cracked bone armor was reduced to fragments, and his aura plummeted once again.
In a mere minute or less of combat, the three generals were utterly overwhelmed by the clones, which were firing at full power and had almost no cooldowns. Their formation collapsed, and each of them was wounded. Mal'Ganis was even nearly incapacitated!
Meanwhile, the battle between Xiaobai and Shaheras, though not as dazzling and intense as the skill-based clashes between the clones, was still quite dangerous and overwhelmingly advantageous.
"Little lizard, you think you can trap me?"
Shahras's figure flickered constantly in the cold mist and shadows, trying to use her superb agility and stealth to avoid Xiaobai's frontal attacks, and looking for an opportunity to attack Xiaobai's relatively vulnerable abdomen or eyes with her poisoned twin blades.
Her voice carried its usual seductive charm, yet it couldn't hide a hint of exasperation.
"Sing—!" (Ants!)
Little White let out a proud dragon roar, its icy blue dragon eyes filled with disdain.
It didn't even use many fancy dragon language spells, but simply manipulated the extreme cold brought by the [Frost Lord] talent.
[Extreme Cold Region]!
Centered on Xiaobai, a biting cold air permeated the air, and the ground was quickly covered with a thick layer of solid ice, with countless tiny ice crystals condensing in the air.
Sahras's prized speed was significantly slowed in this omnipresent chilling aura, and every movement left a noticeable trail of ice crystals, greatly diminishing her stealth effectiveness.
When Shahras reappeared from behind the shadow of an ice pillar, her twin blades aimed at Xiaobai's neck, Xiaobai's massive body displayed agility beyond its size. With a flick of its dragon head, it easily dodged the attack, while its sapphire-like tail, carrying a chilling aura that could freeze everything, swept across like a giant whip!
Shahras's expression changed, and she hurriedly crossed her blades to parry.
Bang!
The immense force caused her arms to tremble violently, her blood and qi to surge, and she was sent flying backward. Even more terrifying, a bone-chilling coldness rapidly spread from the twin blades to her arms, almost freezing her blood and magic!
"It's so cold!" She hurriedly activated her shadow energy to dispel the chill, which slowed her movements again.
Little White pressed its advantage, opening its dragon mouth and unleashing a cone-shaped [Frosty Breath]. It wasn't aiming for maximum range, but rather for extreme concentration, like a high-pressure ice gun, aimed directly at Shaheras!
Shahras screamed and used her life-saving skill, Shadow Substitute. She left behind a frozen afterimage, while her real body appeared more than ten meters away, pale-faced and still shaken.
That condensed, icy breath instantly froze the shadow clone she left behind into an ice sculpture, which then shattered into countless ice fragments!
The moment she appeared, the ice beneath her feet suddenly shattered, and several thick, sharp [Ice Spike Hell] spikes shot out!
She tumbled and jumped repeatedly in a disheveled state, barely managing to avoid the attack, but her skirt armor was torn, revealing her bloodied skin.
Like toying with its prey, Little White would sometimes strike with its dragon claws, forcing Shahras to take the hit head-on, causing her to cough up blood; sometimes it would breathe out cold air to restrict her movement; and sometimes it would summon ice walls to block her retreat.
Faced with overwhelming power, defense, and ice control, Sahras's skillful assassin tactics proved utterly ineffective, leaving her exhausted and wounded, her defeat only a matter of time.
Throughout the entire battlefield, whether it was the clone's absolute dominance against three opponents or Xiaobai's cat-and-mouse game with Shahras, one message was clearly conveyed—
When Lin Tian stopped pretending and revealed his true fangs, Kael'thas's so-called Abyss Generals were utterly no match for him!
Sasovar, his hair disheveled and robes tattered, stared at the avatar that stood like a demon god, its skills seemingly endless and effortless.
He glanced again at Shaheras, who was being toyed with by the dragon and looked utterly pathetic, as well as at Mal'Ganis, whose spirit was dissipating, and Gruul, who was heavily injured and panting, in the distance. A chilling despair finally overwhelmed him completely.
His voice was hoarse, trembling with disbelief, as he looked at Lin Tian himself, who had remained calmly observing the battle from beginning to end, seemingly in complete control, and at Kael'thas, whose face was ashen and whose eyes were terrifyingly sinister:
"He...he was acting all along! All the hardships, all the injuries, were fake! We...we were played like monkeys from beginning to end!"
These words expressed the sentiments of all the Abyss generals at that moment, and were like a resounding slap in the face to Kael'thas, who considered himself to be in control of everything.
......
In front of Dark Erosion City, the situation on the battlefield underwent a dramatic reversal in just a few minutes.
The four Abyss Generals who once drove Lin Tian and Celia to the brink of despair are now in a pitiful state.
Gruul's massive body knelt on the ground, his once-proud, heavy bone armor mostly shattered.
His exposed dark purple skin was covered with charred burn marks and deep, bone-revealing ice cracks, from which blood gushed, staining the frozen ground beneath his feet a filthy mess.
His hands trembled as he gripped the hilt of the Rockbreaker, using it to keep from collapsing completely, his breathing heavy and labored, like a bellows.
Every breath was laced with blood, and those once ferocious crimson eyes were now filled only with pain and incredulous horror.
Sassovar was in slightly better condition, but was still in a very bad state.
His magnificent shadow robes were torn to shreds by the star fragments of [Starstorm], leaving him looking like a beggar. His hood had long since fallen down, revealing a pale, distorted male demon face covered with ancient demonic runes.
Blood trickled from the corner of his mouth, and his hand holding the skull staff trembled slightly. The soul fire in the pale skull's eye sockets at the top of the staff was dim, as if it might be extinguished at any moment.
He stared intently at the shadow clone not far away, whose aura was still strong, as if the storm of attacks just now was merely a warm-up. His eyes were filled with fear and deep frustration.
His signature shadow magic and mind control were child's play in front of his opponent, easily countered and broken by a variety of unheard-of powerful skills.
Malganis suffered the most.
Its originally concentrated spiritual form is now scattered and indistinct, leaving only a pale green light, less than a third of its original size, flickering in the air like a candle in the wind, struggling even to maintain its basic form.
