Chapter 374 Unsolved Doubts
Chapter 374 Unsolved Doubts
"Harry, what do you mean..." Hermione frowned, trying to sort out Harry's thoughts.
"I'm not sure," Harry sighed, "but I feel like we're being led step by step towards a predetermined ending."
At this moment, Ron also came over. He heard their conversation and also showed a trace of uneasiness on his face. "Harry, I feel the same way. Everything recently has been a little too coincidental."
"Perhaps we should ask Dumbledore directly," Hermione suggested, but there was a hint of hesitation in her tone.
Harry nodded, deciding to take action, and the three of them soon arrived at Dumbledore's office, where they found him busy looking through some ancient scrolls.
"Harry, Hermione, Ron, what's the matter?" Dumbledore looked up and asked gently.
Harry took a deep breath and mustered up the courage to ask, "Professor, why do we feel that you have been guiding us and seem to be using us to complete some plan?"
Dumbledore smiled slightly, with a complicated look in his eyes. "Harry, I have always believed in your ability and wisdom. But your doubts are also justified."
He put down the scroll in his hand, stood up, and walked in front of the three people. "You are the hope for the future of Hogwarts, and the conspiracy of the dark wizards is a huge threat to all of us. I need your help because you have unique potential and power."
"So, you admit that you are using us?" Harry stared at Dumbledore with a hint of anger and disappointment in his eyes.
"Perhaps this word is a bit harsh," Dumbledore sighed, "but it is true that I am guiding you, because I know that only you can accomplish this difficult task."
Hermione and Ron were silent, they were also thinking about what Dumbledore said. Harry felt a sense of loss, but he also understood that Dumbledore's actions might be out of responsibility to Hogwarts and the entire wizarding world.
"Professor, we need more trust and transparency," Hermione finally spoke, her tone firm and pleading.
Dumbledore nodded and smiled with relief. "You are right. From now on, I will share all the information and plans with you as much as possible. We are a team, and only by unity can we defeat the darkness."
The haze in Harry's heart dissipated a little, and he nodded to show his understanding. "Okay, professor, we will continue to work hard, but I hope you can trust us more."
Dumbledore nodded solemnly, his eyes full of trust and expectation. "Thank you for your understanding, Harry, Hermione, and Ron. You are the best students in Hogwarts, and I believe you can complete this task."
After coming out of the principal's office, the three stood in the corridor, feeling relieved, but also aware that the road ahead would be more difficult.
"We must be more careful," Harry whispered, "not only against dark wizards, but also be alert to other possible dangers."
Hermione and Ron nodded. They knew that Harry was right. They needed to work more closely together to meet the next challenge.
In the next few days, Harry, Hermione and Ron continued their training and research at Hogwarts. They consulted various ancient books in the library to learn more magical knowledge and spells in case of emergency.
One evening, they received a mysterious letter, which was unsigned but had shocking contents. The letter mentioned some new plans of dark wizards and hinted that there might be traitors inside Hogwarts.
"What's the matter with this letter?" Ron asked, frowning, looking very confused.
"I don't know," Hermione read the letter carefully, "but the information in the letter is very detailed and seems credible."
"We can't take it lightly," Harry pondered for a moment, determined to find out the truth, "We need to find out the source of the letter and the plan mentioned in the letter as soon as possible."
The three began to investigate and decided to start with the source of the letter. In various corners of Hogwarts, they found several suspicious students and professors, but there was no clear evidence pointing to who the traitor was.
"We must be more cautious," Hermione reminded, "no detail can be missed."
During a late night patrol, Harry overheard some professors' conversations involving some secret meetings and plans. They decided to follow these professors in the hope of finding more clues.
At a secret meeting, Harry, Hermione and Ron finally heard the key information. During the meeting, a professor mentioned an extremely dangerous magic ritual that could cause great damage to Hogwarts.
"We have to stop them!" Harry whispered to Hermione and Ron, his eyes full of determination.
"We need a plan," Hermione analyzed calmly, "We can't confront them directly. We must find their weaknesses."
The three decided to use all the information and resources at their disposal to develop a sophisticated plan to disrupt the magic ritual. They consulted a large number of books in the library and learned many complex magic and spells to ensure the success of the plan.
In the process, they also encountered many difficulties and challenges, but they never gave up. Every failure made them stronger, and every success brought them one step closer to their goal.
Finally, on a dark and windy night, they decided to take action. They quietly sneaked into the professors' secret base and successfully destroyed the magic ceremony using the magic and spells they mastered.
"We succeeded!" Ron said excitedly with a victorious smile on his face.
"But we can't relax yet," Hermione reminded, "The Dark Wizards' conspiracy is far from over."
After successfully destroying the professors' magic ritual, Harry, Hermione and Ron stood in the ruins of the secret base, with mixed emotions in their hearts. Although they had achieved a phased victory, Harry still had some unresolved doubts and uneasiness in his mind.
As night fell, the three of them walked quietly in the corridor of Hogwarts. There was silence all around, only the sound of their footsteps echoing. Harry couldn't help but think about Dumbledore's intentions. Their actions seemed to be guided step by step in an invisible net.
"Harry, what are you thinking about?" Hermione noticed Harry's silence and asked with concern.
Harry stopped, took a deep breath, and finally expressed his doubts: "I wonder why Dumbledore asked us to do these things. What is his intention?"
