Chapter 66: Encounter with Black Wolf Fang Again
Chapter 66: Encounter with Black Wolf Fang Again
"Is this the Adventurers' Guild of Herafinor?" Loki looked at the enormous building in front of her and couldn't help but be a little surprised.
Of all the adventurers' guilds she had visited before, Herafinor's was probably one of the biggest, not far behind Milishon's.
Perhaps it's because of its geographical location?
When Luo Qixi traveled from the north to the south, she did not pass through the land of conflict. The reason was simple: it was too dangerous there, with various wars raging everywhere. On the way there with their teacher, they saw many areas with thick smoke rising from them.
This situation only improved somewhat after entering Herafinno.
The adventurers' guild here must be in complete chaos... Luo Qixi shook her head, pushed open the door with a hint of helplessness, and even before she went in, she could already imagine what the people inside would say.
"Hey! Look over there... an adventurer who's that young?"
"Still breastfeeding, right?"
"It looks like the pubic hair there hasn't fully grown in yet!"
The adventurer's foul language reached Loki's ears, but she bit her lip and pretended not to hear as she walked to the counter.
"Hello... I want to post a request," Luo Qixi said in a low voice, "I need a..."
"Hey, hey, hey! Are you short of men? How about me?" A burly man slowly walked over, patted his chest, and then lay down next to Luo Qixi.
"Little girl...you must be really thirsty..."
"..." Luo Qixi glanced at him speechlessly, then lowered her head slightly and shook off the strips of cloth wrapped around her staff.
"I am a Water Saint. If you don't want to die, get lost." Luo Qixi said, mimicking her teacher's cold tone.
As she spoke, she slightly tightened her grip on the staff, causing the tip to emit a faint blue light.
"!"
Her words caused several adventurers who were about to cause trouble to quickly take a few steps back, especially the burly man who had just been talking inappropriately, who also hurriedly avoided Loki.
"Hmph..." Luo Qixi snorted coldly, then looked at the saleswoman at the counter.
"I need to hire a party of adventurers... to help me defeat a monster," she said slowly. "Their strength should ideally all be above average..."
"Clatter".
Before she could finish speaking, she felt someone tap her shoulder. She instinctively frowned and turned to retaliate, only to be met with a blonde woman.
"Miss Alina Liz?!"
The woman before him with long golden hair and elf ears was none other than Alina Lisze. She looked at Loki with a smile: "Long time no see, Miss Loki."
"Yes...yes." Loki looked at her with some surprise. She didn't expect to meet Miss Alina Lige here...doesn't that mean Paul and the others are here too?
Loki peeked out and indeed saw Paul in the corner. He was in the arms of a group of women, his hand casually touching something.
"Hmm."
Luo Qixi blushed and quickly shrank back.
"What are you doing here?" Alina Liz shrugged. "I remember you're a student at Lanoa Magic University."
"That's right..." Luo Qixi nodded, "The teacher assigned me a test to defeat a..."
"Wait a minute, Miss Alina Liz," Loki quickly asked, as if suddenly remembering something, "Do you have any requests right now?"
"What do you think?" Alina Lige pouted. "That guy Paul... has been having a good time here for days."
"That's great... oh no," Luo Qixi said somewhat awkwardly, "That's not what I meant... I meant... it's so great that you guys have nothing to do right now..."
"That doesn't seem right either..."
"Alright, alright, Miss Loki, I understand what you mean." Alina Lige smiled, a rather friendly smile that made Loki relax slightly.
She gripped her staff and said, "I'm looking to hire a small team to help me hunt monsters."
"If you have the time...would you be willing to hire me?"
"A servant?" Alina Lige was a little surprised. "What kind of magical beast are you going to hunt down?"
"A nine-headed dragon."
"A nine-headed dragon..." Alina Lige nodded upon hearing this, then said, "Never heard of it."
"Ah..." Luo Qixi pursed her lips, wanting to explain something, but Paul walked over at that moment.
"I said, what are you doing, Alina Liz... So you've hooked up with another guy... Huh?" Seeing Loki, Paul raised an eyebrow and rubbed his eyes: "Is he a demon kid?"
"I'm not a demon child." Loki couldn't help but pick up her staff and tap Paul on the head, making him stumble back a few steps in pain.
"Ah... so it's Miss Luo Qixi." Seeing his sudden realization, Luo Qixi sighed helplessly.
"What are you doing here?" Paul asked, rubbing his head. "I remember you're a student."
"I'm going to hunt down a nine-headed dragon, so I'd like to hire an adventurer party," Loki explained succinctly. "Mr. Paul... are you available?"
"Of course, of course," Paul nodded immediately. "We happen to be free."
"Shouldn't you ask Girenu and the others for their advice?" Alina Liz asked, pouting and looking at him with a helpless expression.
"No need, no need, they've got plenty of free time lately," Paul said, shrugging. "So when do we start?"
How much money can you pay?
"I can pay thirty Asura gold coins," Loki said in a low voice. "If you need materials... I can give you fifteen Asura gold coins."
"So many?" Paul was taken aback for a moment, then rubbed his chin as if recovering from a shock, and asked, "Is a nine-headed dragon some kind of powerful magical beast?"
"Just from the name, you should know it's amazing, right?" Alina Lige said with a sneer. "So, are you still going to accept?"
"Of course!" Paul patted his chest. "We're friends with Miss Roxanne, aren't we?"
"Helping friends is the right thing to do!" he said, revealing a smug smile.
Seeing his somewhat smug expression, Luo Qixi and Alina Lijie exchanged a glance, both showing helpless expressions.
Mr. Paul really hasn't changed at all... Although he's grown quite a bit taller, he still speaks in the same way.
"So when do we leave?" Paul asked, shrugging.
"How about tomorrow morning?" Luo Qixi thought for a moment and said, "The earlier the better."
"I understand." Paul nodded and looked at Alina Lizzie. "I'll need a little more time to finish on my end. How about you?"
"I think it's about the same on my end?" Alina Lige said slowly.
The way the two were talking left Luo Qixi a little confused.
"Are you alone, Miss Roche?" Paul shrugged. "Where's your friend?"
He's talking about the teacher, right?
"Old...she has something to do, she'll be here tomorrow." I almost revealed that the teacher was fast asleep...after all, it's daytime now, and the teacher flew all the way here and went straight to the hotel to sleep as soon as she landed.
"I see. Since you're alone, would you like to go with Alina Lige...?"
"That's enough, Paul," Alina Lige said, frowning. "Loki is still a student."
"When I was a student at the dojo, I was already..." Paul started to say, but was pulled away by Alina Liz, who said, "Then let's meet here at eight o'clock tomorrow morning."
"Ah... okay..." Luo Qixi pursed her lips, then nodded with a hint of confusion.
So they were just discussing what I should add...
